Wonderful Stay! Beautiful view, comfy space!
"My boyfriend and I stayed at Laurie's place this past summer (July 2014). I have been meaning to write a review for months because we had such a great experience.
Her place is perfect for 2 people. It is impeccably clean (and I am a neat and cleanliness freak) and cutely decorated. The downstairs table and kitchen has everything you would need for a weekend or week long (or month long if you should be so lucky!) stay. There are air conditioning units in the downstairs kitchen and bathroom area, as well as the upstairs bedroom area. There is a common area with a washer/dryer that is downstairs from the condo.
The upstairs consists of a comfortable queen bed, television, and 2 lounge chairs overlooking the AMAZING view of Perkins Cove's shops and restaurants, the bridge, and the entryway to the Atlantic Ocean. Just beautiful.
Laurie was so nice and helpful, but also left you to do your own thing. There is a parking spot that comes with the apartment, so it is possible to leave your car parked, walk over the bridge to Perkins Cove (she even has a little flashlight in the apartment to take with you on your walk back to the condo after dinner, she really has thought of everything you might want!), take the trolley to the beach, etc. You can walk to breakfast and coffee in the morning at Cove Corner, Common Grounds and Amore. Dinner at the Lobster Shack or That Place are very easy to get to.
We've stayed at other places in Ogunquit and Laurie's place was, by far, the most comfortable and affordable place we have stayed at. We can't wait to come back!"

"Only one word for this experience, Fantastic! What a wonderful time. We truly enjoyed the island and its serenity and beauty. The house was just as Jim described it. Jim, Tudor and Catur were wonderful making sure our needs were taken care of plus wonderful lobster, fish, calamari and a delicious fresh peach pie, all supplied by the Austins. My wife and I planned on touring Maine each day but ended up staying on the island enjoying the magnificent tidal changes, kayaking, and the beautiful quiet and privacy. We will be back."

"We truly enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfy cottage. Listening to the waves while laying in bed at night was a great perk. The owners definitely take measures to supply all the necessities you need so you feel that you are at your own home. They also take the time to give you a list of 60 Things to Do when at OOB. This was a great guide for us!! The roof top deck was wonderful for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The proximity to the beach was perfect! We walked the beach every morning to collect sand dollars and in the afternoon the beach is never crowded like locations closer to the pier. We rented bikes as well and loved the proximity of the cottage to the (approximately 1.5 mile) shops, restaurants, amusement parks, pier, etc. We highly recommend this cottage to future OOB vacationers. We will be back again someday for sure!"

"We loved our stay here, and would stay again! Great location central to many neighboring cities. The home was well-cared-for and clean, and stocked with all the supplies we needed. The owner was very accommodating and replied to us quickly when we emailed to ask questions. If there was one downfall, it was that the beds and pillows were not the most comfortable we've ever tried, but they were not terrible, either. (Also no dishwasher, so pack your paper plates.)"
