  • Great Home for Large Group

"I visited KB in 2013 for the first time and fell in love with it. So I convinced my friends to spend a week in a rental house this summer. Since we are four couples, it was a bit difficult to find the perfect house with the right kind of bedrooms...as most houses are set up for families with twin/bunk beds in some of the bedrooms. Well this house was perfect for us. Like other reviewers, the house just went on and on and was well appointed. It was great that each couple had large bedrooms and we all had our own bathroom too. There were so many places to hang out that we couldn't decide which was best. The kitchen had just about everything we needed, though we cooked only breakfast at home. We took advantage of the fabulous restaurants in KB and the surrounding area and didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Rhumbline was perfect for our first night, especially since it was just a short walk. Enjoyed the casual and lively vibe. Great bartender and simple food. Abbondante and Dinner on the Marsh were fantastic all around--food and atmosphere. I just wanted to move into Earth at Hidden Pond. What an unusual and special place. It would have been interesting to dine in one of the outdoor 'rooms' but it was a bit too chilly for that. In Perkins Cove we stumbled on That Place because everything else was packed with long waits. This is a little outside of PC but should be packed because the food is wonderful. Our last dinner at Ogonquit Lobster Pound was very Maine-like and just the lobster I wanted for my last one of my stay. Oh, and Portland is a great town for a side trip, not too far and oh-so-interesting. The Corner Room exceeded our expectations for lunch. The meal went on and on and I almost felt like I was back in Italy. We also rented a boat for a morning...highly recommend that for a drive up and down the nearby coast. Everything looks different from the water! And, Dale was a pleasure to work with. She offered lots of suggestions for things to do in the area, which we definitely followed. If not for her, we would have missed fantastic fireworks right from the front deck. Wish we could have spent more time kayaking on the creek just a short walk away, but there was so much else to do!"

  • Wondeful and very relaxing!!!!!

"Cottage was cute, clean, comfortable, unbelievably stocked and so restful! We had the best time, just what we needed after a busy summer. We really can't wait to go back next September! Our cats even gave Anita the paws up sign. Anyone that wants to have a quiet weekend, will not be disappointed.."

  • Stress free vacation!!!

"The owners have thought of everything to make staying at Seagulls Nest easy as can be. The house was very clean and well cared for. It's on a quiet street just minutes away from beaches, shops and the zoo by foot and tons of places to visit are just a short drive in the car. Our group of 7 ranged between the ages of 8 and 66. There was plenty of room inside and outside for everyone to comfortably spread out. The local Hannafords grocery store is 15 minutes away and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. We prepared most meals at the house - much better and less expensive than eating every meal out. It was a perfect spot to vacation!!!"

  • Vintage Gem!

"I spent 3 nights in this darling vintage cottage in May. I was visiting the area with 6 friends, all retired teachers. The location is perfect, a very short walk to panoramic ocean views on the Marginal Way. The owner communicated with me promptly and answered all my questions, a pleasure to deal with. The kitchen is small but well equipped. I have fallen in love with this cottage and hope to return as do all my friends!"
