"I rented the house for a get together with friends and family. The place works well for a crowd of singles and couples. It has a spacious living room. The kitchen is cozy with a private outdoor eating space off of it. The front porch is charming and catches the morning sun. The location was an easy walk to the cove and to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet. A fabulous vintage space. The owner is pleasant and made it an easy stay. We all loved it!"

"We loved it. Adults can easily walk to the beach (Footbridge or Ogunquit), but if you have small children you also have some other options. You can take the trolley ($2 per person, one way, but hard to lug all your stuff), you can pay $25 to park in the lot, or you can have an able bodied member shuttle you back and forth (this was our favorite option). Perkins Cove is roughly the same distance as the beach and is a really fun place to visit. We also took in a play at the Playhouse, took a trip to York Zoo and Nubble Lighthouse and went up to Old Orchard for the day. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is 2 reasons, and they are not huge, so maybe I'm being unfair, but here they are. First, the washer door was REALLY hard to open. I think there might just be something screwy with the latch (I promise I didn't try to open it when it indicated it was locked). Second, the shower off of the living room turned from freezing cold to scalding hot. I endured it, but the rest of my party opted to share the shower in the master bedroom, which worked great. I could have called Karen about either of these, but didn't really think it was a big deal. Overall, the experience was wonderful and we would definitely come again! Thank you Karen!"
