  • Clean and spacious with beautiful ocean views

"Our group of 6 couples stayed at this wonderful home for 3 nights. It was perfect. Most importantly, it is steps to the water with amazing ocean views. The house was clean with hardwood floors not dirty carpets. There was plenty of dishes, glasses and cookware. The lawn is huge and we played many games of bocce there. I am a runner and to be able to run the beach and then do yoga at sunrise was amazing. Because of where the house is situated it is very quiet. It is pretty much a neighborhood with houses well spaced and not on top of each other. The only room for improvement is I wish there was a bed instead of a futon in one of the guest rooms. Having stayed at many places, I would highly recommend this home!"

  • EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR A WEEK IN OGUNQUIT

"The upstairs apartment was so clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at such a reasonable price. The location was perfect, just steps away from the trolley stop and a block or so from the Footbridge. We walked almost every day from the footbridge to enjoy the Marginal Way. Then, Perkins Cove welcomed us at the end of the walk. What a lovely place. We ate at the Lobster Shack and Oarweed. One of our days, we so enjoyed sailing with Captain Jack on Silver Linings. Most days we walked back along the Marginal Way experiencing the local shops and great dining in the little village. Thank you to the owners for this great place to stay! We hope to return."

  • August vacation

"My husband and I along with our three grandsons (13,15,17) spend the week. The swimming and kayaking was wonderful and without the normal worries of motor boats. The beach and restaurants were within fifteen miles. The cabin is well taken care of and has everything you could need. This was a very relaxing vacation. My only compliant is that it isn't nearer to central New York so we could stay there more often."

  • Great for our large family

"This house was great for our summer family vacation. We are three generations, ages 3 to 60+. Throughout the week we had 9-11 adults and 5 children. The kids (cousins ages 3 – 8) like to camp out in one bedroom, so that left plenty of bedrooms for everyone else. The house was so large that we never felt crowded (we joked that we would need GPS to find the kids). There was a bathroom for each bedroom, so that was a luxury compared to other houses we’ve rented. The house was a short walk to the beach. At the beginning of the week the beach had a lot of seaweed from a recent storm, so we used the public beach (which had lifeguards, which was a bonus) just down the road. At the end of the day we used a car to get the beach gear back but most of us would walk back up the beach to return to the house. The area was very nice and quiet. The kids were able to ride their bikes around the neighborhood every day. The small back yard was mostly the parking area, but we found a table in the basement that we put out there and that’s where we usually all gathered for dinner. There’s a local market with fresh lobster and other food. Very nice people but expensive as small markets usually are. Supermarkets and large stores are about 20 minutes away in Biddeford. The owner was very nice and helpful. We’d never been to the area so he answered several emails about the location and the house, and met us at the beginning of the week. It was a great week, a great house, very welcoming owner. We would definitely rent again."
