  • Annapolis Chesapeake Bay Charmer suitable for special family gathering indeed!!

"We utilize VRBO for many vacation lodging needs and can say this Annapolis Chesapeake Bay home exceeded our expectations in many ways. From the cordial and hospitable property management team and owners, right down to the comfortable-clean-quite-undisturbed property and surroundings, the private beach amenities, and the accuracy of the listing description. Our weekend family wedding event was transformed from a special moment to a lifetime memory by staying here, (versus staying in an area hotel), and, if we are in Annapolis again for an extended period then we would welcome the opportunity to stay at this property again without any reservations. I would highly recommend this property to any relative or friend. We also enjoyed the unrestricted view of the Bay from the front porch, the exclusive address, and the close proximity to historic downtown Annapolis... Also loved touring the US Naval Academy. Dinner recommendations? The grill provided with this rental in the backyard, the Main Ingredient, and the "Dry Dock" Restaurant on premise at the Naval Academy. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!"

  • Beautiful house, central location

"We visited our son at the Naval Academy and chose the house for its location. It is a beautiful house, very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Owner was very easy to coordinate plans. Would recommend the house to anyone, especially if you want a location near the shops and restaurants of Annapolis and the USNA."

  • Historic Charmer

"My family and I rented this house to see my nephew's play USNA baseball for a long weekend. The pictures don't do it justice! On the outside it's a quaint historic home right in the heart of Downtown Annapolis (and 1/2 mile stroll to the baseball field!) with driveway parking for 2 SUVs (a huge bonus on a busy weekend). On the inside, it's completely renovated with a big gourmet kitchen downstairs and a double-sized master suite on the 2nd floor. The master bed and bath were nicer than a hotel! The other two bedrooms were perfect for the kids (our sons, ages 8 and 5 loved the bunk beds and our 13 year old daughter was in heaven in the "Hawaiian" themed room). The 2nd bathroom upstairs was small, but the kids didn't mind. Actually, they ended up in the hot-tub-sized bubble tub in our bathroom every night anyway! The backyard was a nice surprise, too. Comfortable furniture, nice grill, tastefully trimmed... It proved to be our favorite spot each night to grill dinner and enjoy a glass of wine while the kids wrestled in the grass and we caught up with old friends. We loved our weekend in Annapolis and this house was a great "home base!" Once we parked the cars we only used them once to go to the grocery store (literally a mile away) and from then on, walked wherever we wanted to go. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Perfect Place

"We stayed 3 nights at Yellow Cottage in the end of August. This place is like a little slice of heaven. It was perfect for 2 couples. The setting is absolutely gorgeous. The cottage is bright and welcoming. I love the farmhouse kitchen. It had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed kayaking on Harness Creek. The neighborhood was great for evening walks and the location is only a 10 minute drive into Annapolis. Rhonda was very helpful about things to do, restaurants etc. and she made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay at Yellow Cottage again."
