  • IMPRESSIVE !!!!! I wish there were ten stars to give !

"This past weekend it was my daughter's turn to be the BRIDE! We were so very lucky to find this spacious, immaculate house, conveniently located just 3 miles from her Annapolis Wedding Venue. The description of the property reads: Gorgeous Southern Colonial, but it should say : "SOUTHERN LIVING" Colonial , as it is straight out of the pages of the magazine . The house and grounds far exceeded the Bride's expectations as a backdrop for her Wedding Party "First Look" pictures . She and her TEN Bride's Maids had their hair styled and makeup applied, while I stayed busy in the GIANT kitchen assembling the Wedding Cake. Such a tall cake is a very TALL order in a rental kitchen , but we had acres of space. There are infact , THREE kitchens in this house , with three refrigerators and an extremely large freezer, we easily prepared family dinners and Brunch for the Bride's Maids and Groom's Men . We all needed a good night's sleep before and after the BIG Day. This beautiful, peaceful, COMFORTABLE, house did not dissapoint ! . . . We say : Thank YOU Debbie !"

  • Unique stay in Eastport/Annapolis Maryland

"My husband and I had a wonderful time staying on the Sojourner. The staff at the Chesapeake Boating Club could not have been any nicer. We arrived Friday afternoon and did not get back into the car until we had to leave on Sunday. This is a unique way to stay near Annapolis. We walked over the bridge into Annapolis and took the sunset sail on the Schooner Woodwind and then took the water taxi back. What made the trip special were the people, not only at the dock but also of Eastport. You are not staying on a luxury Yacht and it is cozy accommodations but it is a fun experience and we plan on returning."

  • Spectacular Solitude!

"Our family stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The host and hostess are most kind and welcoming, the border collies were a pleasure to watch as they "worked" to corral the sheep and the little lambs were adorable. Our grandson also enjoyed playing in the green grass, running through the yard and watching the tractor till the fields. A perfect place for a respite stay while we were in town for a family wedding."

  • Delightful home in perfect walking location

"We stayed at Joanne's home with another couple while racing in an Annapolis NOOD event. Communication was excellent prior to our arrival. The home is nicely restored and renovated, with inspiring artistic sense -- very pleasant and calming. The main bedrooms were REALLY comfortable. Nice deck and yard for grilling. Easy walk all over Eastport (including Chart House and 2 prime steakhouses), the AYC and EYC, and to historic district shopping. We'll be back!"
