Heart of Annapolis
"I came down in a group of 5 guys and this location was perfect. Everyone got their own bed. There is plenty of room and the two bathrooms with showers are a great perk. The living room had perfect seating for our group and the kitchen table was great for board games. The deck was a nice touch so we could go outside for fresh air.
The location is great. It is walking distance to everything in downtown Annapolis. This is what we wanted and we were able to go out for dinner and drinks on foot and not have to worry about anything.
The only drawback is the parking. Since it is right in downtown Annapolis we had to park in the $20/day lot that is on the same block. We stayed Friday - Sunday and had to drive once, resulting in two $20 charges (I think it maxes out at $20 if we had stayed the entire time). Our last guest drove down in his own car and also had to pay to park. This is the only thing I would keep in mind.
Other than that we all kept commenting on how great the space is and how amazing it was that suck a big place was tucked away right in downtown. Highly convenient."

"I travel to Annapolis several times a year for business, and have stayed at probably a dozen places in Eastport and Annapolis.
The apartment unit at Meg's was the definitely one of the best I've stayed at. First of all it was spotless - totally immaculate. I have a new bar to try to reach in my own housecleaning. The kitchen was well-appointed, with plenty of cookware, plates and utensils. The unit was really quiet, even with guests staying in the main house. It stayed super-cool despite the muggy heat and thunder outside. I slept like a baby in the super-soft sheets. They were so nice that I had to email Meg so that I could by the same kind for home.
It was such an extra and unexpected treat to have access to my very own back porch, and the back garden was gorgeous. It was a delight to come home from a long day of work and relax in this pad. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, both on the fancier side, as well as more affordable. The Boatyard and Davis Pub are quintessential Annapolis to me, and I try to get in at least two visits to each one when I'm there.
Meg and Ben were wonderful hosts, with a great sense of humor and so kind-hearted.
I can't wait to come back, I'm spoiled for life now."

"Our family of six stayed in this waterfront home as a combination vacation and send off for our daughter who was getting ready to start Plebe Summer at the Naval Academy. It was the perfect home and location for our needs. The home with its five spacious bedrooms and three and a half baths allowed us room to spread out while the central dining / living / family room and porch provided great spaces for family time. The dock and kayaks were a hit with the whole family. The location was private and provided a respite from the crowds of down town Annapolis, but we were only a 12-15 minute easy drive to the Naval Academy and down town. The owners were hospitable, accommodating, and very responsive to our questions and needs. They made us feel welcome. We would love to return here as a home away from home during our daughter's Naval Academy years."
