"We came for a long weekend. We are three high school friends 65+ who meet several times a year at different places. The place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. We walked to the water taxi - about 5 blocks - very easy and a nice walk. There were only 2 chairs on the top deck so we didn't go up there. Not a good view of the harbor, only a lot of roof tops. The only drawback is the parking. We were lucky and found a great spot, but it was the Pirate Festival weekend and we were afraid we would never find a near parking spot if we left the one we had. Walked around the corner to a great local restaurant called Cockeys. The house is not recommended for anyone with disabilities since the stairs are rather steep. There are some repairs to be made. The tub faucet in the bathroom was coming off the wall and the bedroom closet door would not stay on its track. The towel ring came out of the wall and we put it back up. All in all though it was a great rental and we had a fantastic time."

"This was our third time at the Lancaster House for our annual Girls’ Weekend, and we keep going back for all of the reasons others have listed. The house not only has a fascinating history but is comfortable and accommodating, with air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and a wonderfully private back patio that we use constantly: breakfast in the morning, drinks in the evening. The house is close to everything. And there is no more accommodating owner than Richard. His true desire is that his guests have a wonderful time, and it shows in every step of the rental from his initial contact to special requests (we had merely asked if there was a slow cooker at the house, and voila! One appeared on the kitchen counter the first day of our rental), parking passes for 2 cars, passes for water taxis. We highly recommend the Lancaster House to anyone who wishes to see the best Fells Point has to offer in style, ease, and comfort!"

"This place is pretty much as advertised. The place was very clean, and it offers way more than anywhere I've stayed in the way of toiletries, coffee, tea, etc. the refrigerator is so cold that it froze a couple of our drinks!
The only negative criticism I have for this place was disclosed in the ad. There is no parking. We were traveling in a full size extended cab truck. If you choose to stay here and drive a bigger vehicle, do extra homework, as parking can be hard to come by. That being said, we knew that going into this, but, I guess, we underestimated how difficult it would be some nights to find parking. Our last night in town the garage we were using closed before we returned for the night.
Overall, this place is great! There is enough room for 2 adults, 3 would be pushing it. The bathroom is a little tight, certainly only big enough for one person at a time. All things considered, this place is amazing, and well worth the price! I would certainly stay here again if visiting Baltimore!"

"It was an amazing time on the property. My friends and i rated it THE BEST SO FAR if you want to escape and enjoy the amazing view of the Chesapeake and wake-up to the river breeze. I will recommend it anytime for a beautiful escape."
