Accommodation, accommodation, accommodation!
"This was our third time at the Lancaster House for our annual Girls’ Weekend, and we keep going back for all of the reasons others have listed. The house not only has a fascinating history but is comfortable and accommodating, with air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and a wonderfully private back patio that we use constantly: breakfast in the morning, drinks in the evening. The house is close to everything. And there is no more accommodating owner than Richard. His true desire is that his guests have a wonderful time, and it shows in every step of the rental from his initial contact to special requests (we had merely asked if there was a slow cooker at the house, and voila! One appeared on the kitchen counter the first day of our rental), parking passes for 2 cars, passes for water taxis. We highly recommend the Lancaster House to anyone who wishes to see the best Fells Point has to offer in style, ease, and comfort!"

"We came for a long weekend. We are three high school friends 65+ who meet several times a year at different places. The place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. We walked to the water taxi - about 5 blocks - very easy and a nice walk. There were only 2 chairs on the top deck so we didn't go up there. Not a good view of the harbor, only a lot of roof tops. The only drawback is the parking. We were lucky and found a great spot, but it was the Pirate Festival weekend and we were afraid we would never find a near parking spot if we left the one we had. Walked around the corner to a great local restaurant called Cockeys. The house is not recommended for anyone with disabilities since the stairs are rather steep. There are some repairs to be made. The tub faucet in the bathroom was coming off the wall and the bedroom closet door would not stay on its track. The towel ring came out of the wall and we put it back up. All in all though it was a great rental and we had a fantastic time."

"My mom, sisters, brother and I decided at Christmas to take a family vacation this year. With 3/4 of us within an hour of Baltimore but never visited, we found this listing due to our need to sleep 8 plus a 1-year old.
The house put us 10 miles or less of everywhere we wanted to visit on our trip: Zoo, Aquarium/Inner Harbor, Lexington Market and the Basilica. The kids took a night to walk to Pickles Pub while Grandma babysat.
The baby didn't enjoy the grates in the floor, but he would just walk around them and still had plenty of room to play, keeping mainly to the second floor living room. I wish I would have packed grippy socks or slippers, as you do walk over a couple open grates to get around, and hardwood floors and stairs are so smooth I personally would have preferred some insurance for my clumsy self.
Bryan is extremely responsive during the inquiry and booking process. I recommend doing a walk-through of the property upon your arrival and emailing him if anything doesn't seem right. You can even email during your stay for recommendations on the fly...communications don't need to and shouldn't stop once you've begun your stay."
