  • Relaxing trip to Annapolis

"We just arrived back from our long-weekend trip to Annapolis. We were looking for a house away from Downtown Annapolis but still close enough to the USNA and this was just perfect. The house was more than what we expected. We spent the mornings relaxing on the back porch enjoying the wonderful view and then traveled to the yard to visit my midshipman son and attend the Navy football game. The house was very convenient to the grocery and plenty of restaurants and the drive to the USNA was just 10 minutes. I would definitively recommend this again and look forward to renting it again."

  • Historic Charmer

"My family and I rented this house to see my nephew's play USNA baseball for a long weekend. The pictures don't do it justice! On the outside it's a quaint historic home right in the heart of Downtown Annapolis (and 1/2 mile stroll to the baseball field!) with driveway parking for 2 SUVs (a huge bonus on a busy weekend). On the inside, it's completely renovated with a big gourmet kitchen downstairs and a double-sized master suite on the 2nd floor. The master bed and bath were nicer than a hotel! The other two bedrooms were perfect for the kids (our sons, ages 8 and 5 loved the bunk beds and our 13 year old daughter was in heaven in the "Hawaiian" themed room). The 2nd bathroom upstairs was small, but the kids didn't mind. Actually, they ended up in the hot-tub-sized bubble tub in our bathroom every night anyway! The backyard was a nice surprise, too. Comfortable furniture, nice grill, tastefully trimmed... It proved to be our favorite spot each night to grill dinner and enjoy a glass of wine while the kids wrestled in the grass and we caught up with old friends. We loved our weekend in Annapolis and this house was a great "home base!" Once we parked the cars we only used them once to go to the grocery store (literally a mile away) and from then on, walked wherever we wanted to go. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Commissioning Week

"This was our first time renting a home for a vacation and it was a wonderful experience. We had family ranging in age from 2 - 81 and everyone loved it. Lots of room to spread out. The rooms are private and quiet which made it great for babies napping. We were in Annapolis for commissioning week the house was centrally located to everything we needed. Stores were very close and all the Navy activities were easy to get to. The back yard was set up for BBQ ing and a great hang out area when we had guests. The owners were very accessible and pleasant to deal with."

  • Nice place, need more photos

"We enjoyed our stay at this home, which was very convenient to a wedding we were attending while in Annapolis. The owner was nice and very helpful, and the home was clean and inviting when we arrived, with fresh sheets and towels. The layout of the home is a bit odd, and I would have appreciated additional photos before arriving. To access the back bedroom area (which is an enclosed porch area) you have to go through another bedroom. And the only, very small, bathroom, is in between the two bedrooms. The sun porch and the screen porch would have been wonderful additional space for hanging out, if we had been here in warmer weather. As it was we only spent time in the main front living room area because it was a colder October weekend. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and though we didn't have time to utilize the community beach area, it was very close by. The kitchen was small, but well stocked, and open to the living room. I'd recommend this place for families with kids or very close friends who don't mind having to share space (i.e. going through each others bedrooms to access other rooms) and only one bathroom. And I would certainly suggest it for warmer months as the outdoor spaces looked very inviting even though we didn't use them."
