  • Great vacation!

"Perfect vacation! The house was absolutely wonderful! It was comfy with plenty of room. The outside was great! The beach was wonderful, sandy and clean. Everyone love the pier, crabbing and fishing was lots of fun for all. The house & neighbors were quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed that we were down country roads; it was great to see the wildlife. Although it wasn't too far from stores and all the necessities. An hour from Ocean City, very enjoyable! The house was comfy and homey; I can't say enough good things about it! The owner, Angela, was simply wonderful. She was always available to answer questions and was very accommodating! We will definitely be back!"

  • Wonderful Place

"A group of us traveled to Ocean City for a Softball Tournament and we were looking for a house to sleep 12 people. This place fit us right. The spacious kitchen and dining area was incredible. The living area was also a great space. The master suite was a relaxing room and I loved the Jacuzzi tub. The only complaint that one person had was that the queen size mattress was somewhat uncomfortable. All in All we had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend staying at 2 Corner Store Lane to anyone with a big group."

  • GLADYS AND DARRYL HAWKINS

"SIMPLY AMAZING.. Darryl and I were browsing the computer and came across Ms. Angie and her property. Ms. Angie answered on the first call and was so pleasant and delightful. She was very helpful in helping us plan for our 15th Anniversary Vow Renewal. I called her urgently to change the date due to my surgery and she was so open and willing to adjust her dates to assist us. We over packed our kitchen in totes, because Ms. Angie has it all. I did not need to use any of my kitchen appliances, because she had them. The Condo looks just like the photos online. The Condo was large, clean and spacious. We had several guest over to help us celebrate and they ALL asked for the rental info. The price was great and affordable. The location is perfect, the sunset view was awesome and the entertaining space was fabulous. The beds were soft and comfortable just like at home, the decorating décor the condo picture perfect. I will be now calling Ms. Angie for an Annual stay at this property. We use to hotel hop but we have found our perfect vacation home. Ms. Angie made our Anniversary an everlasting memory of pure enjoyment and fulfilled memories. Ms. Angie even emailed us an Happy Anniversary!!! Thanks for all your support Ms. Angie.."

Crisfield Vacation Rentals Are in the Crab Capital of the World

Crisfield is a quaint community on the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Little Annemessex River on Tangier Sound. It is just the place to enjoy a quiet vacation surrounded by great places to visit. Known as the "Last Gem of Chesapeake Bay," it is a friendly place, far from the bustle and pace of city life. This waterfront community hosts many annual events and its seafood industry has a long history.

Getting to Crisfield Vacation Houses in Maryland

The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is an 88-mile drive from Crisfield and the BaltimoreWashington Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is 94 miles away. From there, it is an easy drive to Crisfield along the scenic Hwy 50.

Things to Do from Your Maryland Vacation Rentals

For those who enjoy the great outdoors, a Crisfield vacation rental makes the perfect base for walking, fishing and wildlife spotting. Crisfield has one of the largest marinas on the East Coast and Somers Cove Marina is the place to arrange boat charters and fishing trips. Trophy rockfish, flounder, croaker, trout and other species can all be caught in these prime fishing waters.

Crisfield has a golf course, three museums and plenty of local shops and restaurants. It hosts several events, including the National Hard Crab Derby on Labor Day Weekend and a Freedom Fest on July 4th. The Gov. J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake draws visitors from miles around on the third Wednesday in July, along with the Soft Shell Spring Fair and the Terrapin Sands Fish Fry events.

To learn more of the town's history, the Crisfield Historical Museum and Visitor Center has a good collection of artifacts and old photographs. From here, you can book a place on the Port of Crisfield walking tour. This escorted tour includes an interesting visit to the local crab and oyster processing factory to see skilled locals pick crabs and shuck oysters with amazing skill and speed. History buffs will also enjoy seeing the 17th-century architecture and artifacts of the town. Local smithies can still be seen making oyster tongs, clam rakes and other equipment for the local fishermen.

Crisfield Lodging Is Surrounded by Plenty of Great Places to Visit

The Janes Island State Park heads the list of local places to visit. It is located on the Annemessex River and is ideal for hiking, swimming, fishing, boating and picnicking. There are miles of water trails in the state park which are popular for canoeing and kayaking. Cruises to Tangier Island and Smith Island are popular with passengers who wish to visit these remote island communities for the day.
