  • Very satisfied

"This was the first vacation in years that my family and I have had and we were not at all dissappointed. The house had plenty of space for my family of 8. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and appliances to make cooking in very convienient. The house was very close to the beach which made it very nice. There is a laundry room which also was a plus. The bedrooms were roomy and had plenty of space with dressers and closets. The screened porch was nice for relaxing in the evening. There was however only one television in the house and there was no internet, which wasnt a big deal but would have made it all the better. None the less my family and I loved our stay so much we did not want to leave. We will be booking this house for next year."

  • Great condo location for family vacation

"This was my first time renting privately from VRBO. Had always used Caldwell Banker. Stephen could not have made it any easier. Plus, we did not have to wait until 3:00 or waste time getting in and out of the rental agency. This condo had more than enough room for the six of us. Nicely decorated and Stephen provides a large amount of cleaning supplies, trash bags, laundry detergent, etc. We spent several evenings playing cards and dominoes. The Dining table was the perfect size. I have a teenage daughter and the kids bedroom was more than large enough for her and our cousin. For families with young children, their bedroom is in a great location for earlier bedtimes. The bathrooms were huge and the half bath came in handy with 6 people. Would highly recommend this condo."

  • Just what we needed

"I don't know which was better, the condo itself or it's amazing location. We had just the perfect vacation weekend. The pictures don't come close to giving it justice, this place is WAY better than advertised."

  • Clean and wonderful owner!

"Clean condo that is ocean facing. View from the balcony is spectacular. The ocean and beach are visible as well as the Golden Sands pool below. The below deck is not visible from this unit. The furniture is decent and the appliances are functional but on the older side. Bathrooms are clean but also on the older side. The owner is great to work with, which made it a great experience. You receive your keys in the mail and that helps reduce time at check-in. Additionally, for check-out, the owner provides a self-addressed and stamped envelope, so it is very easy to send everything back. We received our deposit just a few days later. Finally, the parking spot associated with this unit is also is in the garage and right across from the entrance into the Golden Sands. All in all, we would recommend this unit. "

Ocean City Travel Tips

The small Maryland town of Ocean City, with a population of only 7,000, is really not so small: Summer weekends here can see more than 300,000 visitors! But this beautiful beach city is an excellent coastal escape for year-round travel.

Ocean City extends a little more than 9 miles from the Delaware state line to the southern inlet, and here, you'll find plenty to do to please everyone you've traveled with. The boardwalk is a star attraction in this town and features shopping and entertainment as well as amusement parks for those thrill seekers. If you love history, head downtown to see the Victorian-style houses and other old buildings lining the streets.

The town also has a long history of fishing and considers itself the "White Marlin Capital of the World." During the warm months, head to the shore or out on a boat with your fishing pole in hopes on returning with a great catch - and the evening's dinner.

While summer is normally when most people visit Ocean City, the town is delightful year-round. It experiences mild winters, so if you're hoping to escape to frigid weather of your home locale, head to Ocean City for a calmer climate and exciting activities.
