"My family of 5 was excited about this condo. When we pulled up and started up the steps we got a little worried as the hallway is "worn." Fortunately, we found the complete opposite as soon as we walked into the condo. It has been beautifully updated. The decor is beach but not beach tacky. There was plenty of room in the condo for us. The fold out couch was plenty big for my two boys and they said it was very comfortable. Both of the beds in the bedrooms were comfortable (no sag). We had everything we needed and then some. We cook very little while vacationing but there was plenty of stuff there if that's your thing.
The BALCONY - This was probably the best part. It was so nice to sit on the balcony in the morning. In the evening the sun warms it up quite a bit so you might have to wait until the sun is setting but it's such a peaceful place to be and at the same time you can watch the goings on over at Harbor Island. There are 4 tall chairs up on the deck that my entire family kept joking about taking home with us because they were so comfortable to sit in.
We mapped out our trip up to the beach - less than a quarter of a mile which was a fairly easy trip for our family and helped burn off the calories we were taking in on the boardwalk.
Drawbacks? - This building was built in the 70s. This means that the ceilings in the bathroom and hallways and kitchen are low. This may not be an issue for many people but as we are a tall family (6'+) it was a little more challenging and showering required some squatting to keep out heads under rather than over the showerhead. Deal breaker? No. Everything else this place has to offer far outweighs that it wasn't built for the above average crowd.
Lastly - My brother stayed with his family in another condo in the complex. Be careful when you are comparing units. His was not renovated at all and yet he paid more for his (possibly because he had access to a boat slip and we did not).
Take a chance on this unit - you won't be disappointed."

"Prior to my arrival, the owners could not possibly have been better to work with on all of the arrangements. They proactively provided a lot of additional information on the condo and the area, detailed directions and the like. Anytime I emailed with a question I got a response within a day. The owners were also available by phone had I needed anything last minute (I appreciated receiving a text message the day of our check-in letting me know when the condo was cleaned and ready). Upon arrival, my kids and I were surprised at how spacious the condo is. The great room, eating area and kitchen are all together on the lower level which is great for a family. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious and quiet with very comfortable beds. My kids loved the relatively unused pool after days spent at the beach (the water felt super warm compared to the Atlantic). Lastly, we liked the location at the extreme north end of Ocean City. We were able to get down to the boardwalk a few times, but liked returning to a quiet and more laid-back area to sleep and go to the beach. Further, it was a quick and easy drive up to Bethany Beach which is a great little town. The beach straight out 142nd Street is quite nice and an easy walk...even when carrying three kids' stuff all by myself! We found that if we walked north a block or so the beach was less crowded. I will stay here anytime we decide to head down to Ocean City and highly recommend it to any families looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway while still having access to whatever entertainment you seek."

"Was spacious and clean with a great location. Nice ocean view from front porch which had plenty of seating for dining. Very good value for the size and cleanliness. Condo was stocked with everything you would need for a short stay. Will be staying at the Dellwood when visiting OC from now on."

"We enjoyed a great week at this well maintained, well appointed condo. Close to everything, great pool and sunsets from the back deck. Quiet community. If you are looking for a great value for an OC vacation then this is the spot for you. We have been coming to OC for many years and this was clearly one of the best places that we stayed."
