  • Wonderful Vacation

"We go to Ocean every year for 2 weeks and this time we stayed the Plaza for our annual trip. The building was beautiful and the unit was clean, with high end furniture. The owner called me after we checked in to make sure we did not have any questions. The kitchen has stainless pots and pans of good quality (I cook) and the furniture was beautiful with glass tops which made it convenient. Bedding was comfortable and new. This condo has 2 balconies which was why we rented. The end of the building with a balcony on the ocean and a balcony on the bay. I have rented others in the building in the past but they were not end units. I am looking forward to my stay next year"

  • Wonderful rental on Bayside @ 12th.

"My family of 5 was excited about this condo. When we pulled up and started up the steps we got a little worried as the hallway is "worn." Fortunately, we found the complete opposite as soon as we walked into the condo. It has been beautifully updated. The decor is beach but not beach tacky. There was plenty of room in the condo for us. The fold out couch was plenty big for my two boys and they said it was very comfortable. Both of the beds in the bedrooms were comfortable (no sag). We had everything we needed and then some. We cook very little while vacationing but there was plenty of stuff there if that's your thing. The BALCONY - This was probably the best part. It was so nice to sit on the balcony in the morning. In the evening the sun warms it up quite a bit so you might have to wait until the sun is setting but it's such a peaceful place to be and at the same time you can watch the goings on over at Harbor Island. There are 4 tall chairs up on the deck that my entire family kept joking about taking home with us because they were so comfortable to sit in. We mapped out our trip up to the beach - less than a quarter of a mile which was a fairly easy trip for our family and helped burn off the calories we were taking in on the boardwalk. Drawbacks? - This building was built in the 70s. This means that the ceilings in the bathroom and hallways and kitchen are low. This may not be an issue for many people but as we are a tall family (6'+) it was a little more challenging and showering required some squatting to keep out heads under rather than over the showerhead. Deal breaker? No. Everything else this place has to offer far outweighs that it wasn't built for the above average crowd. Lastly - My brother stayed with his family in another condo in the complex. Be careful when you are comparing units. His was not renovated at all and yet he paid more for his (possibly because he had access to a boat slip and we did not). Take a chance on this unit - you won't be disappointed."

  • Better than we expected

"The photos of the place does not do this rental justice. The condo is a lot bigger than we were expecting. Pros: property is beside Northside Park. The boys (14, 10, 10) went crabbing and fishing almost every morning. Northside Park is also great for running and keeping off that vacation weight :) we were very grateful for the items in the locker room: crabbing stuff, beach chairs. They came in very handy during our stay. Although,125th street is 125 blocks away from 1st street (ie. a bit far from the boardwalk and main action - 10-15 min drive), the location wasn't much of a hassle, as the beach is the same wherever you are, which is 2 blocks walk across HWY 1 (safer than it sounds, as there are stop lights). Cons: It was a bit inconvenient to not have a proper chef's knife in the kitchen. Other than that, we had everything we needed, and even some typical spices in the cupboard. Overall, the rental process was very smooth. Dennis was quick to answer questions through email and followed up until the day we arrived. Would stay again. Thanks."
