  • Awesome Time

"My family and i spent 7 days in this condo. The condo was very clean and well maintained. Bob was a treat to deal with. He answered all questons and was very quick to do so. I really don't have any complaints. I see some people had issues with the elevators. There are only 2 that go to the upper floors, however we never really had to wait very long. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice peaceful vacation. I know my family and i will be going back for years to come."

  • Wonderful Relaxing Spot

"My 11-year-old son and I visited OC for the first time on this getaway. It was an unplanned trip and I booked last minute. The owner and the real estate company made my task simple. They agreed to a partial week and confirmed all the details quickly and professionally. Checking in was simple and all of my questions were answered. The condo was great. It is comfortable and quiet. Everything you need is there except linens. I prefer to bring my own sheets and towels so that was no problem. The bed and sofa bed are comfortable. We prepared some meals and the kitchen is fully equipped. It was very clean and well maintained. Now for the most important information. The deck is fabulous. Had my child not needed to see all of OC I would have never left. It is the perfect unit. Very private and a panoramic view. You can even see the sunset from the front door. The beach is wide and inviting. My only suggestion is blackout shades for the windows. Thank you for a sweet quiet vacation with my son. Your condo was close to everything and we had a fantastic time together. We will be back and I will recommend your spot. "

  • Wonderful memories made in Ocean City at Sea Robin

"We stayed at Sea Robin in early June. The Ocean City air show was that weekend and the Blue Angels were supposed to fly, unfortunately, they were grounded:( but...the show was still awesome. We trailered our boat down and used the slip behind the townhouse which was perfect--easy access in and out, water is low in canals but head in to slip and no worries. The end of unit, first floor is in a great location, walking distance to mini-golf, pizza places, arcades, the beach, go-carts, etc. We took the boat out a lot, went over to Assateague Island, fished for flounder, enjoyed the sights of Ocean City. The townhouse is beautifully decorated...very nautical-feel, perfect for being at the beach. It was very clean upon our arrival, the kitchen is stocked with all appliances and cookware we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, must be the mattress pads, as stated before, very cozy. The sleep sofa is suitable for the kids and nice to have the extra space for them with their own TV for night time. Washer and dryer worked great, bathrooms are roomy, balcony has a great canal view. Parking space right out front of the unit and extra space at the end for the trailer. I've stayed around this area all my life growing up, so well used to it and felt "at home". The owners are very communicative, getting back to my calls/emails very promptly. I had no concerns or problems and everything went extremely smoothly which makes a family vacation extra special. I look forward to hopefully being able to rent from this family in the future. Thanks for helping make our vacation one to remember!"

  • Ideal place to stay...

"We had two adult couples in our party and stayed for an extended Holiday weekend. The condo is well-equipped with everything you could need for a stay away from home. From the towels and linens to the kitchen appliances/utensils to the beach buggy....all very convenient. The owners are very accommodating and only a quick text or phone call away at all times. They put a lot of thought into the items one may need while away on vacation and they take pride in the upkeep and cleanliness of their property. Lots of things to do in the area; beach (of course!), lighthouse, shopping, boardwalks, free zoo (in Salisbury, MD) and close to Assateague Island...never a shortage of activities within a short walk or drive. Great place to stay!"

Ocean City Travel Tips

The small Maryland town of Ocean City, with a population of only 7,000, is really not so small: Summer weekends here can see more than 300,000 visitors! But this beautiful beach city is an excellent coastal escape for year-round travel.

Ocean City extends a little more than 9 miles from the Delaware state line to the southern inlet, and here, you'll find plenty to do to please everyone you've traveled with. The boardwalk is a star attraction in this town and features shopping and entertainment as well as amusement parks for those thrill seekers. If you love history, head downtown to see the Victorian-style houses and other old buildings lining the streets.

The town also has a long history of fishing and considers itself the "White Marlin Capital of the World." During the warm months, head to the shore or out on a boat with your fishing pole in hopes on returning with a great catch - and the evening's dinner.

While summer is normally when most people visit Ocean City, the town is delightful year-round. It experiences mild winters, so if you're hoping to escape to frigid weather of your home locale, head to Ocean City for a calmer climate and exciting activities.

Things to Do in Ocean City

- Ocean City Boardwalk: A trip to Ocean City definitely needs to include a visit to the famous Ocean City Boardwalk, which dates back to 1902. It's considered one of the best in the country and offers something for everyone. There's plenty of opportunities for family fun at the beach and amusement parks, 17 golf courses to practice your swing, spots for fishing and more. Peruse the various shops and refuel with a quick meal at one of the many eateries.

- Life-Saving Station Museum: Step back in time at the Life-Saving Station Museum to learn about the saving missions at Ocean City through time or look up your family history in the genealogy section. The museum displays interesting exhibits on storms, sea life and life-saving, including beach vacation artifacts, mermaids, shipwreck finds, more than 300 sand samples from all over the world and doll houses depicting local hotels and businesses. You can also see tanks housing local marine life. Some of the best exhibits include "The Boardwalk of Yesterday," "Davy Jones' Locker?" and "Surf's Up!"

- Northside Park: Spend some time outdoors and get a breath of fresh air at Northside Park. With 58 acres, there's plenty of space to start a pick-up game of ball on one of the many fields, try for a catch at the fishing lagoon, play with the kids on the playground or stroll around the walking paths. Pack a delicious picnic lunch and relax under the sun.

- Jolly Roger Amusement Park: For some serious family fun, head to Jolly Roger Amusement Park at the pier or uptown, which features two 18-hole mini-golf courses, Splash Mountain and 10 go-kart tracks. Both parks provide a variety of rides and attractions for all adventure lovers.

- Ocean City Parasail: Enjoy a true bird's eye view of Ocean City with a parasailing adventure from Ocean City Parasail. Up to three people at a time can take in the skyline as you float along the clouds. Choose the height you want to soar to and decide if you want a mild or wild ride. You'll head out on a boat to prepare then you can take to the sky for an experience unlike any other. It will certainly be a memory you'll treasure forever!

- Calvin B. Taylor House Museum: Experience a stunning example of local architecture at the Calvin B. Taylor House Museum, a restored early 19th century home located in the National Register Historic District. The house has been furnished as a museum, with the west wing turned into a gallery displaying local memorabilia. It's a budget-friendly outing, with only a suggested donation of $2 per adult.

Dining

- Coconuts Beach Bar & Grill: If you're looking for a fresh seafood feast, head to Coconuts Beach Bar & Grill. Dine on favorites like mahi mahi, tuna and crab cakes, or burgers, chicken and wraps. Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere as you take in the natural scenery. They often have live entertainment, so you can even dance the night away.

- General's Kitchen: Start your day off right with a filling, delicious meal in a fun atmosphere. Whether you love omelets, pancakes or anything in between, the meals here are sure to please. There's even a children's menu for the younger ones.

Events

SunFest is an annual four-day event in mid-September that is meant to bring the summer season to a close in style and welcome the fall season. Head to the Ocean City Inlet at the end of Atlantic Avenue on the boardwalk for plenty of family-friendly fun, including music, food and crafts. Grab tickets to the big-name headline shows before they sell out!

On the flip side, celebrate the winter season with Ocean City’s annual Winter Fest of Lights, held every year from mid-November to January 1. Hop on the Winter Fest Express to pass by fabulous light displays made from hundreds of lights, representing things like Santa’s Workshop, and keep your eyes open for the 50-foot tall Christmas tree. This festival is so popular that it even has its own pavilion - the Winter Fest Pavilion, where you can stop by to enjoy hot chocolate, buy homemade gifts and take photos with Santa.
