"We had a spectacular time at this property. The location and access to the bay right in front of us was the highlight. The pool is just great. Hot tub for the adults at night. Our kids enjoyed waking up, running to the kayaks and getting out to explore. Mid mornings were spent playing in the pool. Lunch in town with a wonderful choice of culinary delights and we're from NY/NJ so picky. Lazy afternoons in the sun again or shopping and end of day bbq on the deck and the hot tub. Overall 5 stars. Bedroom set up was ideal for a family of 5 with our 3 kids able to be in adjoining rooms. Good for little kids and parents too."

"We spent a week here with extended family (grandparents, siblings, grandchildren) and were very happy with this lovely home. The location, south of St. Michaels, is excellent - it is quiet, but close enough to town to make grocery or dinner trips easy. We loved kayaking around the calm, shallow creek, letting the kids play on the shore or in the pool, or playing frisbee in the grassy front yard. Don't forget to bring your bikes - this is an excellent area for bicycling, with a wide shoulder lane most of the time. We biked from the house down to the end of Tilghman Island, in a loop that included a trip on the sweet little Oxford-Bellevue ferry, and to St. Michaels to sample the beer at the Eastern Shore Brewery. The house is well stocked for cooking crabs (you can buy them live or cooked just minutes away). My mom, who has trouble walking, enjoyed sitting in the sun room and watching the resident osprey and terns fish while the grandkids played. This was our first time on the Eastern Shore, and we're hoping to make it a yearly tradition!"
