"We loved our stay at Tilghman Island - Harbor Cove. Beautiful house...great screened in porch - had steamed crabs out on porch was great! Harrisons Chesapeake House right across the way - swimming, food...it was great. Very relaxing...loved the "Island". Had never been to this area...and it's only 2 hours from home...should have come sooner. Not a lot on the island, but enough. Quant book store, a few restaurants/diner, general store...all within walking distance, and St. Michaels just 30 minutes away. Went on a sailboat tour on the Skipjack Rebecca T. Ruark - located just one street over. We loved it!!!"

Well-stocked, well-maintained house with gorgeous views
"Just finished staying at the house and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. It was a nice surprise to have one of the bedrooms on the first floor and have it open up to the river. On a sunny day, the view can't be beat. Our only drawback was there was too much sunlight at sunrise! A dark curtain could fix that in a jiffy but really the only mild issue we had. The kitchen was well stocked for a full sized family with plenty of serving and cooking items. Clean carpet throughout the house and a ping pong table for fun! Will definitely stay again. Twenty minutes to St. michaels was perfect."

"The cottage is adorable! Perfectly clean, well stocked, very comfortable, good outdoor space. When I realized that the cottage is on the main/only road through Tilghman Island, I worried about road noise. There was none! We arrived slightly ahead of a nor'easter, so our first day was spent reading and watching TV on the long sofa in the living room. Fortunately the weather cleared for a great afternoon at the Maritime Museum, and a delightful sunset sail on the Rebecca Ruark. Captain Wade Murphy is quite the entertainer!
Since we visited in late October, the island was very quiet. We spent most of our time in St Michaels, so we traveled the 15 miles each way several times daily. Also, the weather kept us from doing more outdoor activities.
I think the cottage and the island would be a perfect location in warmer weather. The cottage includes an outdoor grill and bicycles."

"We had a great time with extended family. The layout of the house works wonderfully for multiple families to spread out. The yard was huge and allowed for many games, and the pool allowed us to cool off. It was just far enough from st michaels where it was secluded and quiet, but close enough that we could still enjoy going there to eat and shop. A wonderful house and we will definitely want to use it again when we vacation to st michaels."
