  • Travels with Pups

"Chesabelle was a wonderful getaway. It has a beautiful view and was quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the screened in porch with a view of the glistening bay. My 2 dogs enjoyed swimming in the bay, romping on the beach and daily walks on quiet roads. We walked the beach daily collecting shells and stones. The bikes were a great addition to explore the area. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to be pampered, soaking in the old fashioned tub and the dual shower heads with wonderful smelling shower gels and soaks. We went to Flag Ponds Nature Park to walk the beach and look for fossils. Nice place to spend the day, it has wonderful large beach and nature trails ( 1/2 hour away) .Chesabelle was a very nice getaway and was very tempted to add an extra day. Our pup Jasper did not want to leave. Just for reference if you come out of season 2 local restaurants ( within 15 minutes away) are closed. We were here the beginning of May.Check out St Inigoes General store for carryout subs, salads, breakfast and daily specials that is close to Chesabelle."

  • Great getaway!

"Beautiful views, great amenities (the house is stocked with everything you'll need), clean, comfortable, and serene. We even saw shooting stars whilst sitting out on the private dock. I would highly recommend staying here!"

  • Perfect!

"We spent Memorial Day weekend at the BeachWalk Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. The cottage is just 3 blocks from the beach/boardwalk/restaurants/shops. Quick walk to everything. The house itself is beautiful. It had everything we wanted to include a brand new grill outside, deck with lounge chairs (for the one afternoon we didn't want to leave the house), large completely fenced yard (the dog LOVED). If you like historical homes, you'll love this one. Norma did a wonderful job preserving the history of the home while incorporating modern comforts. Communication: We had a few questions for Norma over the weekend and she responded quickly to each. She also gave us a heads up about the Friday Farmer's Market/classic car show. We took the dog and it was great. Beach pass: you may read on various sites that it's expensive to go to the beach here. This is true- roughly $25/day for two people. However, the cottage pass allowed us free entry- pretty awesome. We can't wait to return!"
