"This is a spot which is really ideal for a quiet vacation with friends and family. The house is lovely and spacious. The property with its setting right on the river couldn't be nicer. The location is also excellent because for all the feeling of peace and solitude, you are still close to shops, beaches, restaurants and interesting state parks so there is plenty to do."

"Beautiful location. Clean beach. Quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. Despite our rainy weather, there was plenty to do on Solomons island and surrounding areas. Great eateries. Cottage was very cozy. 50 miles from DC. Katherine, the owner was a pleasure to work with and very helpful. We will definitely be returning."

"We could not have had a better time! The house was fully equipped with all the necessities. We especially enjoyed the large porch on the waterside with a huge table for meals and hard crabs that the owners arranged for us. We spent our days on the pier, starting with morning coffee and ending with wine and sunset. Our children swam and had great fun in the kayaks. The community is quiet and we were able to ride bikes to the nearby marina for Sunday morning breakfast. Just a delightful place. We will certainly be back!"

"My wife and I stayed at the Tall Timbers Cottage for a spring weekend - the weather was sunny and warm, with a small breeze - just fantastic.
We loved the cottage - parking was easy, the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed (and more), the living room was fun to use, and the bedrooms were comfortable. The cottage is very well-located - a quick 1 minute walk to the water with an unforgettable sunset every evening. We loved going to the Reluctant Navigator for Sunday brunch - they make a mean bloody mary.
Overall, we highly recommend Tall Timbers Cottage, especially for a quiet weekend getaway, or romantic weekend. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.
