"What a wonderful place, the pictures do not do justice to this apartment. The apartment is really quaint, very cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated by the owner with all the amenities and much more. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend arriving Friday afternoon; owners Sharon and Russ greeted us and showed us the place which included the use of their Jacuzzi, laptop, game console etc. We had a lot to do in Washington during the day and where often exhausted by the time we came back but once we arrived in the apartment we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place."

  • Better than a four star hotel!!!

"We love this place. Every amenity is here. From the bath towels to the appliances - everything is very high end. I notice things in a remodel. The owners did an exceptional job keeping the 1930's aura. The moldings, wainscoating and the the little pass through window between the kitchen and living room add so much charm and character. And the house is wonderfully decorated. The furniture and beds are soft, cushy and comfortable. The decor is also wonderful. Every little detail lends the idea this place is very professionally decorated, but in a fun way (I love the fish pillow). It's much more spacious than the photos show. We met the the next door neighbors and some of the towns people - everyone is very friendly. It's awesome to walk out the boardwalk with your morning coffee and enjoy the breeze and sunrise. It's not a bad drive to Annapolis or DC. There are no traffic problems in getting here, either. It's also very quiet at night. A true home away from home!!!"

"We could not have had a better time! The house was fully equipped with all the necessities. We especially enjoyed the large porch on the waterside with a huge table for meals and hard crabs that the owners arranged for us. We spent our days on the pier, starting with morning coffee and ending with wine and sunset. Our children swam and had great fun in the kayaks. The community is quiet and we were able to ride bikes to the nearby marina for Sunday morning breakfast. Just a delightful place. We will certainly be back!"

  • Our Cobb Island Waterfront Home vacation

"Our group (age 66-3 months) spent a week at Ed's and Nancy's home at the end of August and found it a delightful relaxing vacation. Everything is "as advertised." The house is just as pictured. It has high quality furnishings, comfortable beds, large TVs, weber gas grill, etc., and a spacious screened in back porch/deck with a great view facing the mouth of the Wicomico River with a view of the Potomac and Virginia coast in the distance. We enjoyed the sunrises with a cup of coffee in the mornings, playing games and puzzles and reading during the day, and waning sunlight in the evenings with margaritas and snacks. My two grandboys - age 5 and 7 spent all day exploring the little beach and swimming with life jackets and floats around the pier and collecting shells and glass. There are a lot of birds to watch - ducks, gulls, geese. There is an osprey nest two lots over and you can watch the ospreys fish and carry their catch to their nest in a pine tree by the river. We got "old chicken-crab bait" at the little market and kept the crab trap loaded all week so that by Friday, we had enough legal crabs to have steam and eat. (In spite of the poor season.) There is no amusement park or boardwalk and the local restaurants are very limited, but there are kayaks to explore the coast and bikes to explore the little island and that beautiful back porch and view. I highly recommend it if it what I have described sounds appealing to you."
