  • VERY NICE LOCATION AND ACCOMODATIONS

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the house was very nice, the only 2 drawbacks were that the cookware needs replaced, the bottoms stain the stove everytime you use them, which it's very hard to get the stove clean and hard to go up and down the stairs for the pool table or to join the rest of the family as that area seemed to be the gathering area. I would like to look at some other sites, but WE DID LIKE THE HOUSE and the view was beautiful. we ended up coming straight home and admitting my husband to the hospital, he didn't even realize we were on vacation, he missed it all. I will contact you again in the future. thank you, hope every thing was ok"

  • An excellent place to stay --

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place has everything you could want (even a Cuisinart food processor). My husband, our three children and two spouses, and our 20-month grandchild joined in on a week at the lake and we all agreed that it’s the best lake house we’ve stayed in. We always spend a week or two on a lake each summer for the last 12 years. It’s a great house and property! The house is well maintained and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable. My husband loved how the master bedroom was on a different wing of the house, very quiet. The common areas (dining, living, deck) are large. The deck is great and there is a well-maintained hot tub off it which we never used though it looked very inviting. You are set back from the lake, not too far. You see the lake from the house and deck and because of the way they landscaped the property you feel close. Instead of undergrowth under the trees they somehow have moss growing from the deck all of the way to the lake. It’s a magical! The property is pretty level, easy walking for the 20 month-old. There is an extensive dock and seating by the lake with a fire ring, very nice. Nice place to watch the sunset. You are pretty insulated from the neighbors. It’s quiet and secluded. We worked with Stevi Lutheran. She was marvelous in fielding our questions, etc. She’s top notch and made the rental process easy"

  • Wonderful New Year's 2014

"We just stayed at this house for the week of New Year's and we had the wonderful time. The house is just beautiful! Very spacious and bright. The kitchen is huge and very comfortable, although we didn't really cook much, it was our favorite place to hang out, have drinks and snacks and just enjoy ourselves. The kids were in Paradise with so much space, we all played Hide and Go seek with them and they just had a blast. There is a Brewery within walking distance from the house that has really good Pizza and of course the beer is also great. We liked it so much, we went there a couple of times. Wisp resort is very close, the entrance to the Resort is right down the street from the house. We don't really ski, but we did the snow tubing and the Mountain Coaster and that was super fun. We also went to DC one day which is about 3 hours drive, but left early in the morning and had enough time to visit/see most of the important places around the National Mall. The owner was friendly and attentive, she responded fast to all our questions/requests which we didn't really have many. We were there to have a good time and so we did. Only downside, there was no snow at that time of the year, we were told by many locals that they usually have snow for the end of the year, but not this time. I wish we could go during the Snow months, but the kids have school so that's not an option for now. Hopefully in the future... I would definitely stay there again, same house, wouldn't change a thing."

  • First Timer

"This is my first time visiting Deep Creek, and I enjoyed my stay. The house was very clean, aside from the bar sink in the basement. I enjoyed the hot tub I just wish it got a little hotter. Great cost! I would definitely stay here again."
