Great Weekend Stay
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Our group had a great weekend at Built for Fun. The house was clean, in good condition and met our expectations. While there we held our annual fantasy football draft and we can say that the Wifi at this location was the most reliable we've experienced in 14 years. And the TVs were awesomely huge!
The property and location were great and we utilized the neighborhood common grounds to play whiffle ball. It was a short drive to Swallow Falls where we had a blast. And the wings at JG's PUB are great.
Two small recommendations I'd make to the owners... 1) Some of the kitchen items (coffee maker, for example...had the wrong type of filter, and the filter had holes in it) could use an upgrade, but overall was fine.
2) The fire pit was great, but only had 2 small benches so there was only seating for 4 total. The only outdoor chair was broken, so it would've been nice to have enough outdoor seating for everyone around the fire pit.
Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend the location to anyone interested."

"Our family spent a wonderful week at Emerald Outlook. Pictures do not do justice to this property. Walking in and looking out at the lake was jaw dropping. The house was clean and well maintained. Our grandkids are ages 8-16 and the oldest family member, (me), 67. We all had a fun time. Something for everyone. Most relaxing and fun vacation I can remember. Close to attractions and reataurants. Very convenient. Can't wait to go back. We miss it already!"

"I needed a place with 3 brs that allowed pets that was close to Deep Creek State Park since that is where the Savageman Triathlon is centered. This is a central location to all the state parks, Wisp, restaurants and entertainment. We didn't get to fully utilize all the amenities because we were only on there for 2 nights, but would rent again for a winter getaway."

"My husband and I and our daughter and her husband and 4 young children enjoyed a week at the lodge. This is a very comfortable, well equipped home furnished with quality furniture. We enjoyed many features of the home, not the least of which was the hot tub! The deck is spacious and comfortable as well. The pool table and air hockey got a lot of use as did the kids toys. We were happy that there was a crib, play pen and high chair. If you are counting on the stroller, make sure to ask if the flat tire has been repaired. They are very responsive (we had an issue with the reverse osmosis water faucet and a repair person came quickly) so I'm sure it will be fixed. The home is close to state parks which we enjoyed. Having the pass included is a nice bonus! The playground is wonderful too. We were the only ones using it since this is the only house in the development currently. It's too far away to have little ones go play alone, but older children would do well. As another guest noted, you will need to provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, hand soap, trash bags, etc. The rental company gave a welcome bag but it only included 4 coffee servings, one package of very small toilet paper rolls and one very slim roll of paper towels. I wish we had brought more from home. The existing rolls, soaps, etc. were close to empty in most cases. This was not a deal breaker; many home do require you to bring those things...just noting so you are prepared to pack them or shop for them soon. This home is so lovely that if it rains while you are there, you will still enjoy peace and quiet and can build a fire in or out."
