Great Time -- Even in off-season
"This was our first time at Ski & Glee and it was everything we hoped for and more. In April Deep Creek has no skiing or outdoor sports and we were there with our families and young grandchildren. My husband and I commented that there was not one fight among the little ones and we're sure that's because they were having so much fun and had so much to do ... including multiple "tournaments" in the arcade room. We especially appreciated the alarm system on the pool which put our minds at ease with the kids. The place is just beautiful and the VERY large screen TV was a hit, as well as the incredible selection of movies to watch. We feel that the expense and time we take for these get-aways is well worth it when we can see our families and cousins growing close. The dividends will be seen in years to come and Ski & Glee made it possible in a great way."

"The cottage is adorable! Perfectly clean, well stocked, very comfortable, good outdoor space. When I realized that the cottage is on the main/only road through Tilghman Island, I worried about road noise. There was none! We arrived slightly ahead of a nor'easter, so our first day was spent reading and watching TV on the long sofa in the living room. Fortunately the weather cleared for a great afternoon at the Maritime Museum, and a delightful sunset sail on the Rebecca Ruark. Captain Wade Murphy is quite the entertainer!
Since we visited in late October, the island was very quiet. We spent most of our time in St Michaels, so we traveled the 15 miles each way several times daily. Also, the weather kept us from doing more outdoor activities.
I think the cottage and the island would be a perfect location in warmer weather. The cottage includes an outdoor grill and bicycles."

"The location of this condo was perfect: there are bus stops on both sides of the street right at this corner, and lots of nearby restaurants/shopping center are within a very short walk (there's a great beach bar right next door, and as another review stated, the brunch at Clarion was impressive too).
There is a cute little sundries shop on the lower level of the Quay, where they also serve food (great breakfast!) and a game room. The beach-front pool is beautiful (although too cold when we went there) and the parking is plentiful and easy. Elevators make the trip in and out super easy too!
The best thing about this condo, though, is the view--this unit is high up so you can see the ocean in one direction and all the way down to the Ferris wheel in another. It is really amazing!
We had a very easy time with the entire process--the owners were very nice and responsive to all of our questions, and everyone we met on-site was pleasant and helpful. The unit was clean and tastefully decorated (not too 'beachy-cheesy'), and coming in the door at night, its not hard to feel like you are simply--home.
Looking forward to going back--we can't imagine finding a better deal on a better or more convenient place!
PS--definitely try out the Christmas/Winterfest Lights, and the other off-season festivals!"

"My girlfriend and I arrived earlier than expected, but the owner was very flexible and let us settle in upon arrival. The cabin was clean (we stayed in Brownie), up-to-date and very cozy. The river is literally in your backyard so it is impossible to not relax. There is a large lake and trails near by with great hiking. By the back next to the river is a fire pit -- which made the each night even more great! The main thing I'd have to say about our experience are the amazing views of the river and side of the mountain -- truly amazing! The owner is great and made our stay awesome. Highly recommend considering this if you are looking to get away!
