  • Great vacation spot!

"This was a wonderful cabin within the beautiful Berkshires. The owner Donna was very professional and helpful, and the cabin was great! A cozy space stocked with many of the items you would need for cooking, bathing and sleeping. The fire pit, hammock and movie library were enjoyable when relaxing at the cabin. Loved taking walks through the neighborhood with the quiet dirt roads, and the Sherwood Shoppe was a great place to pick up a few grocery items or stop in for a quick, simple meal. Close by are plenty of places to hike, sightsee and enjoy the arts."

  • Clean and comfortable

"The house was open, bright, and very comfortable. Julia and Robb were very easy to contact and responsive to all of my questions leading up to the weekend. I actually appreciated paying a cleaning fee, because I had peace of mind that the place would be nice and clean on arrival, and it was! The pictures of the house were spot on, although I was still surprised by how big the master bedroom was. I loved the recliners in the master bedroom and also the big double shower. The house comfortably slept 3 couples and 1 infant. We did all of our own cooking for the weekend, so we found that the kitchen was well-equipped with the basics for cooking. I really appreciated not having to bring things like paper towels and dish soap. I would definitely recommend this property in the future."

  • Amazing getaway

"We rented this house for Labor Day/My Birthday weekend. From the moment we arrived, we felt so relaxed and happy. We didnt have great cell service (Sprint), but it really wasn't a problem. We spent the evenings playing board games or sitting out by the fire. Great place to get away and unplug!"

Culture and Recreation in Becket

The town of Becket and the Berkshires are full of wonderful cultural and recreational attractions. You can find shopping and antiquing opportunities as well as outdoor adventures such as skiing, rafting, golfing, and fishing. The Becket Arts Center of the Hilltowns is a great attraction for a day's activities. Best known for its history in woodworking and basketry, Becket is now a wonderful little resort town complete with an artists' community—the Jacob's Pillow Company. This dance company features one of America's longest running dance festivals. It is also a National Historic Landmark and features many activities: walking the Wetlands trail, tours of the facilities, or experiencing a dance rehearsal.

Enjoy this culturally rich area from your own Becket vacation rental where you and your group can enjoy preparing a home-cooked meal in your private kitchen, complete with local flavors. Or enjoy a local dining experience from one of the many restaurants including top rated establishments such as the Dream Away Lodge, the Bombay Bar and Grill, or the Church Street Café.
