  • Wedding Getaway

"We were in town for my son's wedding and the lake house was absolutely perfect. It was 30 minutes from Tanglewood where the wedding was held, 5 minutes from my daughter-in-laws parents and grandparents house and close to all amenities. We really enjoyed relaxing at the lake with the family. We brought our own lawn chairs because we were traveling by car and that helped. I fully recommend the house for family gatherings."

  • Awesome weekend away!

"My boyfriend and I had so much fun up in Becket! We live about 40 minutes away from here, so it was a quick ride up! Friday night we went to the Dream Away Lodge and had an excellent meal! We kayaked the Stockbridge Bowl on Saturday and enjoyed a fire out back over looking the lake! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for cooking! The view from the deck onto the lake is great! Hopefully we can make our way back there next year!"

  • Wonderful home for gathering in great location!

"We had a wonderful time staying at the General Williams House at the end of June. The owners were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The house location was convenient to Tanglewood, Lenox, Jacob's Pillow. The house itself was beautiful - nicely appointed rooms, many bathrooms, inviting and spacious common area, grill and backyard for meals outside, large dining table, modern kitchen, pool table, pool. We had a fantastic time and we would love to return to this house again!"

  • When can we go back?

"My husband, son, and two dogs just arrived back home from Jim's beautiful and peaceful property and we adored our stay! The barn is beautiful and full of quirky and fun antiques. We were snuggled under down comforters, hosted friends in the gorgeous kitchen, made s'mores in the fire pit, hiked and waded in the stream, read the paper on the porch, watched a full moon through the many windows in the barn and just relaxed! Jim was so helpful and had many suggestions for where we could go for great hikes, food and Berkshire fun. Amazingly, the barn is very close to many attractions, although, once you arrive, you feel isolated from the rest of the world! Fantastic!"
