"We enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful, peaceful setting. Not only could we view gardens from our windows, we could watch hummingbirds dart among the monarda (bee balm) just beyond (with binoculars provided on the window sill). This is the perfect base for visits to Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, The Mount, Edna St. Vincent Millays' Steepletop home, the Clark Museum, and to regional restaurants."

"This house provided us with peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting. It's not far from town, but even if you just want to hang out at home, this is the place. The house, the grounds, the flowers, the pool, all inviting you to just stay home and relax."

"We rented this lovely home for a girls' getaway weekend, and we had a fantastic experience! The house is beautiful with a newly renovated kitchen and great room downstairs and a lovely master suite upstairs. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us with ample bedrooms, a few different sitting areas, and a great kitchen and dining area. The great room was perfect for cozying up by the fire, and Don and Emily could not have been more helpful and hospitable. Plus the location of this spot can't be beat. It's only a few miles from the highway, grocery, liquor stores, etc and close too all the towns the Berkshires is known for. We visited Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lenox and Lee all in our short weekend trip! We highly recommend this spot!"

"My daughter and I stayed over the Memorial Day week-end and this was the perfect home base. Joanne was so accommodating. I found this on Thursday night and we were able to go on Friday even though we were having some troubles with the booking site, I called her and she was SO EASY to work with. We were glad to be able to meet her and Sadie in person. As for the property..... AMAZING! The abundance of windows and their positioning make you feel like you're in a tree-house! All you see where ever you look out is green! We loved walking down the road passing all the farms in the morning and evening. It was easy to get to restaurants and grocery stores. We found a great place to horseback ride and took a day trip to Vermont! We chose to come home each night and eat in, cooking together with the beautiful sun coming through the kitchen windows - amazing! Loved the fireplace in the center of the living room and had one each night, never turned on the TV (with a 17 year-old, that says alot!). So well set-up with the what you need, but no clutter, making it simple to enjoy just being with whomever you're with. This place is great for anybody and everybody! We didn't want to leave, but we will be back! Oh yeah, and those beds. Best night's sleep EVER!!!!"
