"We had a great time here for a couple families celebrating fourth of July. There were 8 of us in total - 4 adults and 4 children - and the house was more than enough space, beautifully furnished, and in a great location about 75 yards off the lake. Dina was a gracious hostess and made sure the house was immaculate before we arrived. We swam from the dock and small beach next to the property (although the lake is fairly weedy), canoed and kayaked, roasted marshmallows in the firepit, grilled, and did a daytrip to Tanglewood for a family concert. Highly recommended for a relaxed family weekend. Thanks for hosting us."

"This is a beautiful, well appointed home privately situated on three acres. The owner, Maria Reveley, was extremely helpful and supportive. She met us at the home for our arrival, gave us a lovely bottle of wine, and pointed us to a couple places to visit locally that were real winners. We ate on the patio just outside the kitchen for many meals. The home literally sits on the border of the Beartown Mountain Preserve, and as hikers, we were able to access nearby trailheads in the preserve with ease. Although the home is in the little town of Monterey, with its quaint General Store, we were able to make easy day trips to Tanglewood, the Inn on the Green in Marlborough, the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, the Clark Institute Museum in Williamstown, Kripalu in Lenox, and the restaurants and shops of Great Barrington. Given the price we paid for our week, and the wonderful features of the house, with four big skylights in the upstairs Queen Bedroom we used, we felt we got super value for money! We are already talking about renting the home again."

"A lovely and comfortable house. Walking distance to Housatonic, a very short drive to Great Barrington. Rustic charm, cozy, warm, inviting, and plenty of space for eight adults. A delightful little porch looking over the yard, and a sweet enclosed porch that provided sheltered space when it became too chilly to sit outside. Best of all, everything was in working order... including plenty of hot water for showers! A well equipped kitchen, and a terrific dining area that easily accommodated ten adults. Clean, well-kept, hassle free... exactly what our gang was looking for. I'd come back again... and again."

"We had 4 couples rent this property for two nights for my husband's 40th birthday party. We had a great time and loved the accommodations! Every guest remarked on what a comfortable bed they had to sleep in. There was just so much room and space to move around. I think our favorite place was the front porch which provided privacy and shade from the sun but made us feel like we were living in a time where life was lived on the front porch of a home. We also enjoyed the beautiful backyard during the day for cornhole and ultimate frisbee. It was such beautiful land with cattle grazing - we loved it! The back porch is where we ate dinner and relaxed. The kitchen was amazing and had everything you could need. The house had a great warmth and energy and we felt right at home. There was so much space we could have easily had more couples/friends. We loved the privacy and were so pleased with our stay. Highly recommended! No issues at all!"
