"My daughter and I stayed over the Memorial Day week-end and this was the perfect home base. Joanne was so accommodating. I found this on Thursday night and we were able to go on Friday even though we were having some troubles with the booking site, I called her and she was SO EASY to work with. We were glad to be able to meet her and Sadie in person. As for the property..... AMAZING! The abundance of windows and their positioning make you feel like you're in a tree-house! All you see where ever you look out is green! We loved walking down the road passing all the farms in the morning and evening. It was easy to get to restaurants and grocery stores. We found a great place to horseback ride and took a day trip to Vermont! We chose to come home each night and eat in, cooking together with the beautiful sun coming through the kitchen windows - amazing! Loved the fireplace in the center of the living room and had one each night, never turned on the TV (with a 17 year-old, that says alot!). So well set-up with the what you need, but no clutter, making it simple to enjoy just being with whomever you're with. This place is great for anybody and everybody! We didn't want to leave, but we will be back! Oh yeah, and those beds. Best night's sleep EVER!!!!"

"We were two families that comfortably shared this home over MLK weekend. We had 4 adults and 5 children and a dog that the owner graciously let us bring with us and there was plenty of room still. We didn't even use the large bonus room on the first floor. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to cook some great meals at the house. Just a few miles down the road from Jiminy but definitely close enough that we were able to be on the mountain in minutes."

"A very comfortable place to stay and a great location. The house is on a quiet street and has beautiful lake views and access to the lake down a short hill, and it’s also just 2 minutes off Route 7, so it’s very convenient for exploring the area. The house is well-equipped and has anything you could need. I especially appreciated having a washer/dryer after a hike at nearby Mt. Greylock got very muddy."

"I went up with a few people for a friend's birthday. The property is absolutely stunning! We bought groceries from a store nearby and had BBQ's, made food in the amazing fully furnished kitchen, and hiked up the Appalachian Trail. There is a main cabin, and a few smaller ones, kind of like summer camp style. I slept in one that had a potbelly-like stove which we sat around and told ghost stories while eating s'mores. The river down the way could be heard through the window, too. It was a PERFECT getaway.
I would 100% recommend this place."
