"A friend and I met here for two nights on our own before descending into the melee of our college reunion in the Pioneer Valley. It was just right for us -- separate rooms, both with comfortable beds; a nice kitchen in which to warm up the foods we got at grocery stores nearby; and a gorgeous location. Once we figured out the thermostat, we were warm and comfortable (it was cold for mid-May). An additional day would have been even better, giving us more time to explore the western Berkshires. (I only give five stars for truly extraordinary places, so four stars from me means that the place is fine and I'd definitely go back.) Also, the price was right for two people of modest income traveling on a budget."

"We stayed here for a long MLK weekend of skiing and LOVED it. The cottage is very charming and well decorated. The property is beautiful and the kids loved running around in the snow out front. The porch entry was perfect for getting our ski gear off before going into the house. We also loved their collection of old vinyl LP's. The reservation and key exchange was easy. We would definitely stay here again for a weekend escape from the city!"

"The house was very well set up for our party of 8 - two familes. Cosy living rooms, a large kitchen and dining table to easily accommodate everyone. The property is very quiet, set well back from the road and conveniently located 15 minutes from Great Barrington. Highlights were expedition up Race Brook falls (trail head is 500m away), Bartholemew's Cobble and great dinner at the Stagecoach Tavern (1 minute drive!)."

"A group of 9 of us rented this house for the weekend when our friend got married in the Great Barrington area. We could not have been more happy with our stay. The house was incredibly gorgeous, the manager Chrissy was more than accommodating, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. We were very fortunate to have good weather that weekend and spent most of the time enjoying the beautiful backyard. We will definitely be staying here again if we ever come back to the area. Everyone had an amazing time and I would highly recommend this staying here."
