"We spent two weeks at Silvernail Farm with our 5 yr old and 3 yr old and made some memories that we will not soon forget! This home is beautifully decorated, comfortable, welcoming, spotless, and really well set up for a family with children (e.g. outdoor play toys, a game closet full of puzzles and board games, a chest full of kids' DVDs). My most favorite things about this house is the large rectangular window right above the kitchen sink that provides a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery, and the hammock in the yard. The children played outside all day in the sandbox, the play structure, and on the tree swings. We used the grill to make dinner, and took advantage of the few rainy days to watch movies as a family. The house is extremely well situated to all the wonderful amenities of the Berkshires. We were able to attend multiple concerts at Tanglewood, as well as a show at Jacob's Pillow, and the Clark Art Institute. This house is a gem, and we are already making plans to return this Fall and next summer!"

"My husband and I were looking to spend a weekend in the Berkshires and wanted to be centrally located to Williamstown. This house was perfect for us. We walked to town for coffee in the morning and drove the 2 miles to Hopkins Forest for a beautiful hike. We had our dog and the back yard is a dream! Huge fenced in area where we could play with our dog when we weren't out with her hiking. The house is well-loved, but if you can look past some of the dated rooms, it's a really great option to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the place was very clean. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!"

"We enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful, peaceful setting. Not only could we view gardens from our windows, we could watch hummingbirds dart among the monarda (bee balm) just beyond (with binoculars provided on the window sill). This is the perfect base for visits to Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, The Mount, Edna St. Vincent Millays' Steepletop home, the Clark Museum, and to regional restaurants."

"This home is one of the nicest homes in which we have stayed for a family vacation. We brought our 4 young adult children on vacation for the Memorial Day weekend. The home has a great living space, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of space for people to do their own things and a beautiful view. We enjoyed the freshly laid eggs by the chickens. The pool is a beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. The owners are terrific and made us feel as if we were their houseguests. The home is well-equipped and it felt as if we were welcomed and stayed at a friend's home. It did not have the sterile feel of a rental property. Highly recommend it!"
