"What a great spot! Starry Night is a beautiful, well maintaned home and Steve is an incredibly accomodating owner. With all the snow, I asked to arrive a day early - he didn't even hesitate. We arrived to a warm, clean and very comfortable home with amazing, albeit snow covered, views. It is nicely located - close to everything and right off the Mass Pike. We went ice fishing at Lake Buel and Stockbridge Bowl, went skiing at Bousquet, went bowling at the Cove, and shopped the outlets in Lee. We ate at the Barrington Brewery, The Brick House Cafe, The Gypsy Joynt and Rose's. The whole family really enjoyed the week. We will be back!"

"This house has an excellent location: equidistant from Stockbridge and Lenox (a vigorous walk to Tanglewood). The Stockbridge Bowl is across the road, with good swimming and is staffed by at least one lifeguard. There is lots of local theater and cultural activities within a short distance.
The house is comfortable, and has central air conditioning for the rare hot Berkshires evening. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there is a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and a washer and dryer."

"Our group had a wonderful week here. The home is lovely with stunning views of the lake and the layout is ideal. Big open main floor living space so we could all easily interact and if wanted, plenty of places to go off on your own. The ten and twelve year olds were rarely out of the lake, except when fishing with their homemade traps off the dock. The sunsets were stunning and we had the added bonus of sighting the beavers as they swam by at the end of each day. As other reviewers have mentioned, the house was clean, well maintained and well stocked. Sarah was very helpful showing us the ropes upon arrival and I felt confident that she would have been able to quickly handle any issue that may have come up (none did!)."

"Our stay was awesome! We were in such a peaceful state of mind after arriving that we didn't even care about doing all the things we had planned before the trip. Just being in the house, on the dock (our granddaughter's favorite spot) or walking the dirt road leading to the cottage was all we needed to do. We did go to a wonderful production of The Other Place in Pittsfield
that we enjoyed very much and General Store was a great place for brunch, then again for late afternoon cookies and ice cream which we would take back to the house to enjoy with a fire and a movie. We all agreed that we really need at least one more week in our perfect retreat. Thank you for allowing us to share in the beauty and magic of your Moore Cottage, it is an experience we will always hold dear in our hearts. Kindest regards, Bill, Sandi and Camille
PS-Can not wait to stay there again."
