  • Family retreat in the Berkshires

"We really enjoyed this charming old house in the deep woods of the Berkshires. We arrived late on a Friday night and Michael had a fire ready to be lit, so cozy and warm. The place was clean and comfortable with an ideal location to hiking and cute little New England towns. Of course the leaves were just beautiful. Ate at the Prairie Whale in Great Barrington and it was excellent, also the brewery had good food. I would recommend this property, it was great!"

  • Wonderful stay in Lenox

"This house was perfect for our family. We were there for a week with plenty of room in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to town. The house felt more like a home and was nicely decorated. We had local friends and family over for a few dinners and the house was able to accommodate everyone. Nice large kitchen and work space with plenty of kitchenware. Carol, the owner was great. Hope to be back next year!"

  • Wonderful rental home for our Berkshires vacation

"We spent four days at this beautiful, quiet, well-maintained and peaceful home in the Berkshires. The house was perfectly located just a few minutes from downtown Great Barrington, yet on a quiet, private and beautiful country lane. We could see the beautiful fall foliage right from the back deck. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the furnishings were all very clean. Before and during our trip, we appreciated that the owner, Ron, was friendly and prompt with all communication. Before our arrival, he left us farm fresh eggs, kale, salad greens, flowers, local coffee, local milk, and local chocolate. Such a nice touch. And all were delicious! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we could possibly need, and the owner provided excellent restaurant recommendations as well. We would not hesitate to stay at this home again! Thank you!"

  • Cozy, clean, nice.

"We stayed at the Country Bungalow for our son's orientation at MCLA in North Adams. The house was cozy and clean, with everything we needed, plus cows, which enchanted the kids. Carl was extremely accommodating. I only wish we'd been able to stay more than two nights! Be aware that cellphone reception is spotty at best, but the wifi worked perfectly. The tradeoff for poor cell service? You're in the gorgeous Berkshire Mountains at the foot of Mount Greylock. So lovely, and a wonderful getaway."
