"My husband, our teenage daughter, our son and daughter-in-law and two young granddaughters stayed for two nights in this lovely house. It looked, felt and smelled clean and fresh, with nice towels and linens and comfy furniture. We loved being right on the river with total privacy. We had the best time just splashing around in the water which was cold and clear and quite shallow. Glendale Falls is five minutes away. It is a beautiful spot and a nice hike, doable even with a four-year-old and a two-year-old. The fire pit on the property was great for a night of marshmallow roasting and star-gazing. We went to Stockbridge to the Rockwell Museum on our last day. It takes about 45 minutes to get there, but it's a lovely, scenic ride. The house was a perfect setting for a relaxed, enjoyable few days together. Thanks for sharing it!"

"This was our first time in the Berkshires, and it definitely won't our last. This cottage was perfectly comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The bunk beds were a big hit. The yard is huge with a play structure, and we roasted smores almost every night. Craig responded quickly to our questions, and kept us posted with updates during our stay. We will definitely consider returning.
great location (very close to Tanglewood, Lenox town center, grocery and liquor stores, athletic club)
very close to the lake access (a couple of hundred feet away). The lake access is not big, but was hardly ever anyone else there, so it felt almost private. The lake is beautiful. There is a larger beach a long walk away, but it wasn't much better than the private beach.
Cons (these are for planning purposes, and were not major issues for us):
Close to train tracks. Freight trains came by every hour or two.
Kitchen has basic utensils and cookware, but it's not stocked with food staples. Definitely bring your own essentials (e.g. high quality knives), if cooking is your thing."

"We had a great weekend scrapbooking in this awesome house. We had plenty of space in the great room and lots of room for everyone to have their own bedroom. Loved the layout of the home and we will be going back this fall for another girls weekend."

"First of all, I must say, the owner was a joy to deal with. He responded quickly to all of my numerous e-mails. The cabin's open floor plan was great for my visiting great niece and nephew to play games or watch a movie while adults sit on deck for some r&r and still see what kids are up to. They loved the bunk-beds, swimming, going on the sea-cycle, fishing, and taking hikes. The only thing that would make this place better, the beds are a little hard, except for the bunk room, which seems new. I don't think that would stop me from renting again. Overall we had a great stay.Thank you Adam and Joanne"
