  • Wonderful Vacation Home

"Everything about our stay was perfect! Very nice, clean home, plenty of running space for our dogs. Our vacation was very relaxing! The owner was very friendly and helpful, and made us feel at home. Enjoyed exploring the area, and visiting Mt. Greylock. We found many good local restaurants, especially Big Bob's for breakfast. We will keep this house in mind for future stays."

  • Romantic, Quiet, Super Private, Very clean

"My wife and I needed a weekend getaway and we decided on this property. It's absolutely gorgeous set in the woods on the owners property but a safe private distance away. We actually never saw the owner and have the full use of the entire property which includes a beautiful garden and a nice pond walk as well as outdoor seating and lounge chairs a table and a Pergola that overlooks the pond and has stunning views of the woods and the foliage. The owner was very nice on the phone and very prompt whether it was phone or email. The house itself is small but surprisingly large on the inside that has a separated small kitchen and opens up into a studio with a large bed that is looks more like a large boutique hotel suite. It was beautifully appointed and very clean. We plan on going again as it's conveniently located about 20 to 25 minutes to Lenox, Stockbridge, Lee and about 35-40 minutes to Great Barrington and the drives are absolutely magnificent"

  • Berkshire Gem!

"My husband and I first came to the Morewood House in October 2014 to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We've been coming to the Berkshires for years and were looking for a place that was private and pet-friendly. We appreciate the home's history and the owners' attention to detail. The space is so cozy and warm. The kitchen is well appointed, the gas stove provides plenty of heat, and the front yard is fenced - the perfect spot to play fetch with our dog. We can't wait to come back!"

  • Wonderful cabin

"This was our first trip to the Berkshires and I wanted a cabin/home by a lake so that our teenage sons and any friends that visited us would have a ready source of entertainment. I didn't want a fancy home, but rather something that felt like a lake house. This home fit the bill. The living room is just as pictured, huge windows looking out on the surrounding woods. A fantastic place to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife (in particular a rabbit my oldest son even named) and relax. The lake was a short walk down a grass path and there were plenty of back roads that I could run on in the area. We spent time walking in the area and at Pittsfield State Forest. We also visited the Catamount Trees Aerial Adventure Park and had a fantastic time there. It's not to be missed if you have adventure lovers in your group. And most of all, we relaxed, read books, put together puzzles, and spent time catching up with old friends. It was a fantastic vacation."
