  • Cozy, clean, nice.

"We stayed at the Country Bungalow for our son's orientation at MCLA in North Adams. The house was cozy and clean, with everything we needed, plus cows, which enchanted the kids. Carl was extremely accommodating. I only wish we'd been able to stay more than two nights! Be aware that cellphone reception is spotty at best, but the wifi worked perfectly. The tradeoff for poor cell service? You're in the gorgeous Berkshire Mountains at the foot of Mount Greylock. So lovely, and a wonderful getaway."

  • Bride's family

"An excellent week before & after my daughter's wedding. All clean & as portrayed on the site. Loved the separate downstairs area. My 3 young grand daughters moved right in to the bed in the wall. They said we're " camping " inside!! Loved the deck off the master & the colorful neighbor! A quirky house, yet works well for a family. The town beach is perfect for young children & Tanglewood so close for music & a family picnic."

  • Berkshire Gem!

"My husband and I first came to the Morewood House in October 2014 to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We've been coming to the Berkshires for years and were looking for a place that was private and pet-friendly. We appreciate the home's history and the owners' attention to detail. The space is so cozy and warm. The kitchen is well appointed, the gas stove provides plenty of heat, and the front yard is fenced - the perfect spot to play fetch with our dog. We can't wait to come back!"

  • Another Great Stay!

"Once agin we completely enjoyed our week long stay in this wonderful house. It is the perfect spot for relaxation and quiet with all the amenities. We especially appreciate how immaculate and well equipped the house is -- top of line everything, lots of towels etc, and complete directions on how things work. If desired, there is satellite TV and a good selection of DVDs and books. A new feature is the back up generator which we didn't have to use but would be wonderful in a power outage. Toby is an excellent host who is prompt and efficient and great at offering suggestions about Berkshire attractions. We sampled more Berkshire riches by visiting the Freylinghausen-Morris house which is an interesting example of Modernist architecture and art and the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, a fine old style institution. Heartily recommend the house and the Berkshires!"
