  • Best location!

"My husband and I were looking to spend a weekend in the Berkshires and wanted to be centrally located to Williamstown. This house was perfect for us. We walked to town for coffee in the morning and drove the 2 miles to Hopkins Forest for a beautiful hike. We had our dog and the back yard is a dream! Huge fenced in area where we could play with our dog when we weren't out with her hiking. The house is well-loved, but if you can look past some of the dated rooms, it's a really great option to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the place was very clean. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!"

  • Absolutely Wonderful

"This was a girls weekend retreat. I have been using HomeAway (cyber rental) for the past 15 years. This was one of the cleanest I have stayed at. I have never returned to the same one twice as there are just so many different places to go. We all agreed though to return to this one next year if possible. The yard is quite large for being in a lake community. The kitchen was well stocked. There is a grocery store near by (10 min). Pittsfield is close enough to go out to eat. We just had a great time and can't say enough good things about it."

  • Yearly Group Getaway

"Our group had a wonderful week here. The home is lovely with stunning views of the lake and the layout is ideal. Big open main floor living space so we could all easily interact and if wanted, plenty of places to go off on your own. The ten and twelve year olds were rarely out of the lake, except when fishing with their homemade traps off the dock. The sunsets were stunning and we had the added bonus of sighting the beavers as they swam by at the end of each day. As other reviewers have mentioned, the house was clean, well maintained and well stocked. Sarah was very helpful showing us the ropes upon arrival and I felt confident that she would have been able to quickly handle any issue that may have come up (none did!)."

  • Beautiful upscale home

"For the last year and a half we have been renting this new, beautiful and sophisticated home perfectly located close to Lenox, Tanglewood and great shopping. The house is set back on a serene wooded lot with privacy, a lovely yard and patio with a barbecue. It has a open livable layout, a gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances and a spacious master suite with large closets and a wonderful marble bath with a jetted tub and steam shower. The house is appointed with everything you will need; all you have to do is show up! Additionally the landlords were completely trustworthy and exceptionally helpful in acquainting us with everything that makes the Berkshires so special. We have rented before and this is the best all around experience we have ever had. We highly recommend this perfect home. You are guaranteed to have a wonderful stay for a few weeks or a year!"
