  • Great family getaway

"Great stay. My family enjoyed every moment from taking a walk, to creating our own artwork, to collecting our own eggs. Kids loved having their own private area upstairs (Like a clubhouse with a special staircase). Great location to see the area. Looking forward to coming back."

  • Perfect for large family

"This is quite simply an amazing property! We had 11 family members in our party for 5 days, and we were amazed at how this home met our needs with a high level of comfort and privacy for everyone. Every detail was taken care of by the owners who were gracious hosts and really nice people, too! We entertained a total of 17 for New Years Eve and there was ample space and seating for everyone. (great house for entertaining) The chef's kitchen with professional Wolf range made the cooks in our party very happy. 2 dishwashers made cleanup easy. 3.5 miles to Great Barrington made it easy to get to town for coffee at "Fuel" after a morning run. This was truly exceptional! Can't wait to come back in summer! Thanks Gayle and Joel for a memorable holiday!"

  • Beautiful House to Stay In During Our Wedding Weekend

"We stayed in this home the weekend of our wedding that was held on the same property that the house was on. The house is very clean and well decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything that we could possibly need. It was also used for the caterer to prep the food for the wedding. My family loved staying here and we will be back!"

  • A great escape

"This house was a fantastic getaway for our family. It has rooms everywhere, and charm such as a wood burning stove, stained glass doors, and incredible wood detailing. An updated kitchen and plenty of bath towels, as well as wifi and satellite tv made it an enjoyable and easy two week stay. The location was a bit further south than we normally stay in the Berkshires, but we discovered the delicious coffee of the nearby Southfield Store and hiked a very kid-friendly hike at Campbell Falls in northern CT, and Great Barrington was a short and incredibly scenic drive away. Truly a wonderful escape, including a beautiful lap pool and lots of interesting landscaping (blueberry bushes, pear and plum trees and more). The owners were lovely to deal with and answered any questions promptly."
