"For years me and my family have been renting this house for a summer month and have never been disappointed. The Location is excellent, right in the hub of Cape Cod next to Hyannis but set in a peaceful lake setting. The lake beach area is a 2 minute walk from the house. The property is a good size for family with kids and pets. The perfect getaway from your everyday hectic life. You will not be disappointed."

"We had a great family vacation in this beautifully maintained and decorated house. The house and location were perfect for our extended family gathering. My son and his wife and 2 grandchildren under the age of 6 as well as my daughter and her husband stayed with us. We made dinner in the well equipped kitchen and ate outside in the spacious backyard almost every night as the weather was delightful. The dining room was large enough to seat all of us and then some but we enjoyed the outdoor ambience with the good weather. The grandchildren had a ball playing in the backyard while we had cocktails and dinner. We went to the beach everyday with towels, beach chairs and sand toys provided by the owner. Also enjoyed the proximity to Hyannis shopping and restaurants. Took in a game at the Hyannis Cape Cod League baseball field which was a highlight for some of the crew. It all worked out so well and we look forward to returning soon. The owners were most friendly and responsive to our concerns. I have highly recommended this property to friends and family."

"We're just wrapping up our stay and we're so sad to have to leave. This has been a great experience - from the point when we first saw this listing right up until now. The owner, Maria, has been great to work with, answering all of our questions along the way. The house itself has been perfect. It was spacious enough for me, my husband, our 10 mo old baby, and my two parents and it had everything we could have wanted, and then some (the high chair, pack n play, baby beach hut, and beach toys were great surprises and the kayak, beach chairs, games, and fully stocked kitchen were icing on the cake). The house was clean and airy and the air conditioning was nice on humid days. The fenced in yard was also great for the baby and our dog. But, the best part was definitely the location - just steps from the beach and with a wonderfully private backyard right on the marsh. We kayaked every day and loved watching the osprey and egrets from our lounge chairs. Definitely a place to come back to. Thank you, Maria!"

"This was a fantastic place for us to vacation on the Cape. I brought my son's family with me, so we had 3 adults and two teens and a 10yr. old. This house had great space for all of us. The décor was in a tasteful beach theme. The kitchen was fully stocked with the things you would need to cook great meals. My sister lives in Cotuit, so it was easy to get to and from for visits. We enjoyed a walk down Scudder Lane to the beach Sunday followed by trip to Barnstable, a wonderful quaint village. We went out to Sampson's Island and were able to use the beach chairs the owners had available. The week was full with a Whale Watch, campfires on Sandy Neck Beach, Trip to National Seashore and P-Town, and a trip to Boston. Took in a few Cotuit Kettleers Baseball games and the Patriots training camp. This house was perfect for all our plans. The only downfall I have, was not having WIFI with everyone using the internet. Actually I wasn't able to connect to the land line, but Sturgis Library saved the day to make return reservations. Also having linens available has always been a common practice with other VRBO's. Bringing towels and bedding, etc. Was a bit of an inconvenience. Over all the experience of being in this location on the Cape and in such a nice home was wonderful! Thanks for letting us experience this great vacation home! Dana"
