A Magical Place to watch the Sunrise and Sunset
"We had the most wonderful stay in Dennis's house. All the reviews were spot on in the description of Dennis, the amazingly beautiful and amenity filled house, the views, everything. What a way to start and end the day, both bedrooms can hear and see the water (beds super comfy.) You can see the sunrise and sunset from the house, although we recommend watching from the hot tub, which we did every night of our stay. We had two small children who loved the hot tub, walking down in front of the house to kayak and paddleboard, and then during low tide, enjoying all the creatures walking around. Very easy walk to the harbor and the town for a coffee or ice cream. No reason to leave, we had dinner watching the sun go down from the deck. Our kids asked if we could come back next year, and hopefully we are lucky to return to this perfect spot."

"I had never gone "outside the box" when looking for vacation rentals, using known hotels, homes, etc. We took a chance and the results couldn't have been more rewarding. The area is so scenic, so relaxing, so calming. I truly can't envision vacationing anywhere else. The Sandcastle was more than enough room for my wife and me. Comfortable, clean, a short walk to the beach, and within walking distance of shoppes and restaurants. Greg was a wonderful host, with local knowledge second to none and wonderful stories of days gone by on the Cape. While the lack of air conditioning might have been a problem had the weather been hotter the well ventilated home and plenty of local fans kept the Suite comfortable at all times. I can't wait to vacation there again, hopefully taking advantage of Greg's other properties to possibly include our large extended family. A wonderful experience"

"This was our third year spending time at this wonderful house in the beautiful harbor town of Barnstable. The location is perfect, close to the beach, and far enough from the bustle of the small village to feel the quiet of the countryside. The house is comfortable, warm (in the November Chill) and well furnished. It is a short walk into the charming village of Barnstable with shops and restaurants that are quite impressive for the size of the town. We love to eat at the Tavern in town, and the larger town of Hyannis is just about 6 miles away if you are seeking livelier adventure."

"I took my family and parents, who are getting up in years, with us for a week-long get away. The downstairs bedroom and bath were easy for them to navigate. The property is just few yards from the ocean -- a marsh-like shore with lots of cool things that wash up each morning, which the kids loved. Although it's not a traditional beach, there are several of those right in town. The property is pretty far back in the woods, which worried us a little at first. But honestly, we began to appreciate it rather quickly and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Plus, we didn't have to worry about any meltdowns from the three-year-old bothering the neighbors! :-) The huge screened porch was especially terrific. You just need to be aware that nothing is really in walking distance to you (although nothing is really that far either) and plan accordingly. We'd definitely recommend it."
