Rustic Cabin on Pond
"We have been camping in Brewster since our children were little. At the age of 18, our son had decided that he will take no part in camping any longer and this cabin fit exactly what we were looking for and more. The pond is beatiful and a great temperature to swim in. The cabin has charm and the description and photos are just as it is. It's great to have a real roof on the occasional day when it rains. The canoe, the raft to relax on, the location which is convenient, yet out of the way, are all nice features. When we stay here, we access the bike trail, go to the ocean, bay, Nickerson State Park, great restaurants, and more. The owners are very nice people to rent from. We have stayed here twice and look forward to another return trip!"

"What an amazing vacation - the condo was pristine and the location was ideal. The entire experience was made much more enjoyable by the information and responsiveness of the owner, Madeline. It was like having the expertise of a concierge at an expensive hotel. There is so much to do in the area (activities, restaurants etc.), and with Madeline's recommendations, we were able to figure out everything we wanted to do with no hassle at all, and with no bad experiences.
The washer and dryer were a definite plus, among the many other amenities. The oil paintings around the condo (which I am pretty sure were done by the owner) were beautiful, and captured the scenery of the locale perfectly.
We will definitely be back again. Thank you for a great vacation!"

"I really don't know where to start. How about with Paul, the owner of the home. So patient and helpful. It almost seemed too good to be true, but it was. So easy to communicate with. When we pulled up and went inside, we realized that we nailed it. The home is not only perfect, and in a perfect location, but it was so well stocked, and it was spotless inside. You can tell that Paul and Barbara take a lot of pride in their home and it showed. They have this binder with all the information one could need to make sure that all your questions are answered. While searching for a place, I read that they had done a renovation to the master bedroom and bath. Let me tell you, the renovation is beautiful. That master bedroom has an unbelievable view of Cape Cod bay, and so does the 2 person shower. You can shower with a clear view of the Bay through the barn door window. The bathroom seat is automated and heated with some other features that you don't see everyday. My 3 yo daughter told me when we returned home that our bathroom was broken because it wasn't like the one on vacation. There is a switch right next to the bed to control the blinds. I mean, all these little things really made a difference. The views from all around the home were unbelievable. The way the home is set back a bit makes it possible to have the best unobstructed views of both the Bay and the pond. We would have dinner in the 4 season room that has a great view of Freemans pond and the Bay. Oh yes, a Weber grill that is piped into the house so you never have to worry about an empty tank. Usually when you rent a home, the grill is a some bottom of the line grill that's falling apart. This was top of the line, clean, and ready to use. We grilled at least 4 times that week. The best part of all was the proximity to Paines Creek Beach. We were lucky enough to have a great week weather wise and went to the beach pretty much everyday. It was a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Extremely kid friendly and not very crowded beach. There is also a little foot bridge that leads right to the beach as well, which we would take when we walked down in the evening with our drinks and camera for the beautiful sunsets. My 2 girls ran for miles and collected shells during low tide. A couple of nights we would walk 10 minutes up to Kate's Seafood and ice cream for dinner. It really made things so convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. See you next year :)"

"My family of "7" had a wonderful stay in this great home! The kayaks and bikes were such an added bonus. We fished in the pond and caught many trout....we did throw them back though. My children were busy every moment....riding bikes and jogging around the neighborhood, swimming at the beach, fishing, kayaking....and this was all within the Sheep Pond Estates. I must admit, we never felt like we had to exercise. Especially climbing up and down the steps to the dock! But the view from each step was more beautiful than the next. Amazing. Everything we could have wanted was in this home. We loved every moment. Thank you so much Susan and Phil for sharing. You have a gem!"
