Wishing I was there now...
"The home was the perfect amount of space for us and our two children - 14 & 10. The owners take excellent care of the home and property. The lake was pristine and I miss my morning swims. Look forward to coming back."

"We had a great time staying at this home in Harwich. It was an excellent location--very close to the rail trail and many lakes/ponds. A great central location on cape cod, so it was easy to get to many tourist attractions around the cape. The kitchen was well equipped. The deck was a great spot in the late afternoon--quiet, nice breeze, good combination of sun and shade. We brought along our 18 month old son and our family dog. It was as child friendly as any rental can be! We did toddler proof a little bit when we first arrived and watched him closely--but nothing unexpected. I can't imagine we would have needed to do any less at any other house."

"I really don't know where to start. How about with Paul, the owner of the home. So patient and helpful. It almost seemed too good to be true, but it was. So easy to communicate with. When we pulled up and went inside, we realized that we nailed it. The home is not only perfect, and in a perfect location, but it was so well stocked, and it was spotless inside. You can tell that Paul and Barbara take a lot of pride in their home and it showed. They have this binder with all the information one could need to make sure that all your questions are answered. While searching for a place, I read that they had done a renovation to the master bedroom and bath. Let me tell you, the renovation is beautiful. That master bedroom has an unbelievable view of Cape Cod bay, and so does the 2 person shower. You can shower with a clear view of the Bay through the barn door window. The bathroom seat is automated and heated with some other features that you don't see everyday. My 3 yo daughter told me when we returned home that our bathroom was broken because it wasn't like the one on vacation. There is a switch right next to the bed to control the blinds. I mean, all these little things really made a difference. The views from all around the home were unbelievable. The way the home is set back a bit makes it possible to have the best unobstructed views of both the Bay and the pond. We would have dinner in the 4 season room that has a great view of Freemans pond and the Bay. Oh yes, a Weber grill that is piped into the house so you never have to worry about an empty tank. Usually when you rent a home, the grill is a some bottom of the line grill that's falling apart. This was top of the line, clean, and ready to use. We grilled at least 4 times that week. The best part of all was the proximity to Paines Creek Beach. We were lucky enough to have a great week weather wise and went to the beach pretty much everyday. It was a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Extremely kid friendly and not very crowded beach. There is also a little foot bridge that leads right to the beach as well, which we would take when we walked down in the evening with our drinks and camera for the beautiful sunsets. My 2 girls ran for miles and collected shells during low tide. A couple of nights we would walk 10 minutes up to Kate's Seafood and ice cream for dinner. It really made things so convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. See you next year :)"

"This house is everything that it says and more. A perfect vacation retreat. The open kitchen, great room, and dinning area was a perfect gathering spot for the entire family, and not just during meals! The kitchen is complete with every amenity possible. Besides the great room area, there is a perfect spot on the front porch for morning coffee and a book. The deck off the great room is large and perfect for pre-dinner drinks and snacks. The grand kids loved the ping pong table in the garage, a hammock in the rear yard. Adults loved the lawn chairs in the back yard. The bedrooms on the main level and upper level were great for sleeping and the two baths on the main level were perfectly redone! We had an outstanding week of sun, fun, dinning, and all the activities the Cape provides."
