  • Great house!

"We rented the house with another family and it was great! The house had plenty of space. Big backyard and close to supermarket, good restaurants and most of the great beaches in the area. Definitely would rent this house again."

  • A True Gem Perfect for Family Gatherings - Quintessential Cape!

"THANK YOU for sharing your exquisite property with our family. This is the perfect summer home for extended family gatherings and one of the best vacation properties we have rented. We would highly recommend this house to any family seeking a True Cape experience. The owner is an interior designer and her passion and skills are revealed in this showroom house -- loaded with family heirloom antiques and original artwork. There are very few vacation properties in this area which have this much historic character, tasteful design and comfort. The rambling antique property is divided into two main wings -- the original 1740 cottage with 2 bedrooms (including the master suite) and the barn extension with 3 additional bedrooms (2 bedrooms are connected which is perfect for young parents who want an attached kids room). This setup was perfect for our multi-generational family so the grandparents could enjoy some peace on one end with our little toddlers running around on the other end of the property. Each bedroom is decorated in a unique and special way. We felt like we were staying in our own private, antique B&B! We enjoyed gathering for family dinners in the farmhouse kitchen. The house has the best kitchen we have ever enjoyed in a vacation property - We love cooking and its clear the owners do as well given the huge professional oven, large kitchen island and the great array of Creuset pans and kitchen utensils. And after tucking the kids in at night, the grown-ups would enjoy a night-cap under the stars in the "Secret Garden." The Website listing does not do justice to the property's grounds. The in-ground pool is private and perfect for cooling off after a full day at the beach. There is also a sprawling 2 acre lawn -- our kids had plenty of room to run around and play soccer. We really enjoyed riding our bikes on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. There are also several family-friendly restaurants within walking distance. We also had fun going to Cape Baseball games which are just a short bike ride away. The owners are a delight -- very responsive and helpful. This amazing property represents everything that true Summer Cape vacations are all about -- we are definitely coming back and can't wait to return. Highly Recommended."

  • Wonderful rental

"We rented this house for a group of women on a retreat here on the cape. We needed a house that rented from Sunday to Sunday which was not easy to find. Traveling into the cape on Saturday can be difficult with most rents arriving mid afternoon, The house was conveniently located on 6a and close to paints creek beach which is a wonderful place to watch the sunset or walk the flats during low tide. The house was extremely clean and well appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the back yard expansive. I was a little concerned about staying in a place right on 6a but most of the traffic dies down by 6Pm and each room has their own air conditioner to drown out any outside noise. I would not hesitate to rent this house again."

  • Beautiful Spot for our Family Vacation

"Our family of 5 spent an incredible week at this house right on the pond. We kayaked around the pond together, swam at the beach(either kayak distance by water or walking distance by land), enjoyed nice warm showers in the outdoor shower, cooked and ate delicious lobster dinners on the porch, and biked on the rail trail. Since our visit fell right before the 4th of July, we even saw fireworks over the pond one night. The kitchen is well-stocked. We played the board games that were provided. We hardly even ventured out to the beach because we had so much to keep us busy right at the house. The house is comfortable and has plenty of space for 5 or more. We can't wait to come back again this summer! The steep staircase down to the dock would make this difficult for anyone with physical disabilities."
