Perfect for Large Families!
"This is our families's 2nd year renting this lovely Chatham home - and once again we came away with great memories!! Like many " empty nesters" our birds have flown to different shores, and to be able to gather them all, along with our 3 young grandchildren for a week of sun & fun was our dream. This house is perfect for that....plenty of room for all to spread out. 5 comfortable bedrooms ( the 2nd floor with central AC, which was really appreciated this year!), updated eat- in kitchen with high-end appliances, a family room with tv and board games, spacious living room and dining room. Our favorite gathering place was the huge screened in porch, where we had family dinners every night ( table seats 8-10). The yard is huge and well landcaped, private and set far back from the road so we felt comfortable bringing the little ones out to play. And did I mention the Beach? Hardings Beach ( which has been rated among the top 10 Beaches for Families in the US) is a 2 minute walk ( from the end of the driveway) along a wide flat sidewalk - which makes it easy when you have a 1,3 and 5 year old in tow! This was one of our grandchildren's favorite daily Chores- packing up the large red wagon provided by the Owner, with sand toys, umbrellas , beach towels ( again, all provided by him) to start out for our adventures at the beach. And you are just minutes of driving distance from the Town of Chatham, with all it's great restaurants, shops etc to enjoy. Blue Skye is a vacation Rental that has something for Every generation, and the owner Tom is a pleasure to deal with.
What else can I say? We'll be back next Year!"

"I stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful home in Chatham with my husband, two young children (5 and 18 months) and my parents. The house is beautifully maintained and was very well stocked with kitchen and bath essentials! To our delight, the house had a variety of toys and books for kids, which was a big hit. Hanging out on the large, wrap-around porch was a favorite morning and evening activity.
The house is about a 7-10 minute walk to Ridgevale beach, which is a must for young kids, with the shallow tide pools, it makes for a very easy beach day. The house had beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, and best of all, a cart to transport it all there and back. My kids especially enjoyed the outdoor shower when we returned from the beach. My parents enjoyed the Central A/C! The owner, Stuart, has been a pleasure to coordinate with as well."

"We have been coming to the Isaac Bea / Mercy Bea for 5 years because it feels like home.. The house is beautifully furnished with antiques, artwork, china, and glassware and all the windows and antique wood plank floors make the house delightfully light and airy. The location and setting are perfect for my 4 kids: close enough to walk into town to shop or get ice cream, across from the ballpark where we watch the Anglers' home games, and close enough to the beach to walk or ride our bikes. We spent a lot of nights cooking our own meals this year, rather than eating out, and ate out on the deck, overlooking Oyster Pond . Mornings, while the teenagers enjoy a lazy schedule, my younger kids attend the Anglers baseball camp, and I sit in the garden, sipping coffee, reading my book, and enjoying the beautiful secret garden. After a long day on the beach or paddling kayaks, we come home to the fabulous outside shower and then hang our wet towels and suits on the line to dry in the breeze. That same breeze blows through the open windows and shutters into the kitchen and living room, and we sit and play cards in the evening around the big kitchen table. Thank you Janet for another great vacation! See you next year!"

"We had a great stay here! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and answered our texts promptly. There are neighbors, but you cannot see or hear them. The home is is very centrally located to explore the whole cape. It is close to several beaches and the pond. We brought our 5 kids (ages 12 - 24) and my grandmother. There was a large enough sleeping, seating, and dining area for all of us. (In addition to the 3 bedrooms with their 3 queens and 3 twins, there is a pull-out couch in the family room.) There were no stairs, and the master shower had a low entrance, small seat, and a railing for my grandmother. It was the perfect place to stay. We even saw a little fox!"
