  • Charming Cape Home

"We had a fantastic week in Chatham and this home exceeded our expectations. Served as the perfect base for our Cape adventures. Great size for our family, very clean & comfortable, and well appointed. Nice location in a quiet neighborhood just outside the town of Chatham, yet just a few minutes from downtown and numerous beaches. Owner Gerry was extremely attentive and helpful - thank you! We have VRBO'd over a dozen properties the last 10 years and he is the best owner I have experienced. Highly recommend catching a Chatham Anglers baseball game - town ballpark is 5 minutes from the house. Drinks on the porch @ Chatham Bars Inn - a must. We also enjoyed a day trip to Nantucket - ferry departs from Harwich Port, just a few minutes west of the house (look for Groupon Summer 2014). I believe that Chatham is the perfect spot for a Cape Cod vacation, and this home is exceptional."

  • nice location, cute house, responsive owner

"The owners were wonderfully responsive, accommodating us on 1 weeks notice which was greatly appreciated, and promptly addressing any questions we had while we were there. The home is quite cute and well located, within walking distance of the beach, and very close to a pretty conservation area. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Perfect for families with babies or young children

"We just returned from a week at the house and had a wonderful stay! The space worked perfectly for our family, with two children (including a 15-month old) and a set of grandparents. This place was all about convenience. It was so nice to not have to bring a pack and play or high chair and the kids loved playing with all of the toys that were there. Plus, having all of the rooms on one floor made for a worry-free (and baby gate-free) vacation. The outdoor shower was also a great feature after returning from the beach. We ate at least half of our meals at the house, in the little dining area inside or outside, where the kids could play while the adults enjoyed themselves and relaxed. The restaurants on the Cape can have such a long wait and after a busy day, the kids weren't into leisurely dinners. While Forest Beach was a short walk away, we preferred to take the quick (~ 5 minute) drive to Cockle Cove or Ridgevale Beach where if you enter before 9 am or come after 4:15 pm, you don't have to pay. The beaches there had fewer shells (easier on little feet), a snack bar, and portapotties."
