Excellent location, good layout for large family
"We had a great stay at this home. With a few easy fixes it would be perfect. The layout is nice for a large family to be able to hang out and visit. The open floor plan was great at night. It also has a den off of the living room so that the teens could have their own space. The rec room in the basement was great for entertaining the younger kids with games and tv. We enjoyed the large deck.
The only negatives are easily fixable and some were done while we were there. The grill was not working for the first 3 days, which was difficult for a large crowd to cook. The oven was also not working well. The oven mitts were filthy and I replaced them myself. Can opener needs to be replaced. Also not clean on arrival. The cleaning crew came shortly after we arrived and spent less than 3o minutes there. Pretty ridiculous for a $200.00 cleaning fee that was charged.Especially since expectation was to wash and dry all towels, strip beds, clean all counters and broom clean before leaving.
All in all I would still recommend to stay here."

"This is an immaculate vacation home. The view from the deck of the sunrise over Taylor's pond is to be remembered. My family of four stay here for the week in August and were treated to a quintessential Cape Cod vacation. The house is close to all attractions in Chatham yet secluded, and only an hour-long boat ride to Nantucket. For those sporty enough, try kayaking to a secluded beach from the backyard or from the boat launch just down the road. After a long day of activities, relax on the deck with a slice of bumbleberry pie from Marion's."

"Had a fabulous week with my children and grandchildren on Queen Anne Rd. The house was comfortable, roomy, and stocked with all kinds of goodies for the kids. Walking to the beach and town made it easy for everyone to come and go when they wanted and everyone wants to know when we are going back !! Always a good sign! Thank you Betty and Joe for making this feel like a home away from home!!"

"We spent some time here over Christmas and were delighted with the wide open kitchen and large spaces for gathering, but also plenty of rooms to break off from the crowd. Because it's on a flagpole lot and backs to woods, you really feel like you've gotten away from it all; at the same time, you can easily walk into town or to the lighthouse. Thanks!"
