  • Perfect historic downtown location!

"Absolutely charming, had everything we needed plus a delightful little porch and walking distance to downtown! The owners have put a lot of thought into preparing for guests at their historic home. Fascinating history lesson about the history of the house and its previous owners as well, wish we had a copy of the book!"

  • Fun and charming

"We loved our visit to Chatham and this lovely home. We were 3 couples invited to a wedding in Chatham and decided to rent the Isaac Bea Young 1840 House and use it as our base. We couldn't have been more pleased. The home was so well located, near all the quaint shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped and the gardens were delightful. Janet even invited us to have some of her home-grown tomatoes. Yummy! But perhaps the most unexpected and best feature of the home was the outdoor shower. We loved it. If our travels take us to Cape Cod again, we will certainly look into renting this home. Thank you, Janet, for everything."

  • Beautiful,well-equipped charming Home!

"My husband and I recently stayed in this lovely home with our daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren. The house provided a private master suite, that is very large and a private deck with table and chairs (and umbrella) and a separate area (a queen bedroom and a room with bunk beds) for our next of kin! The porches on the main level have plenty of chairs, a couch and another covered table for eating. The property was in excellent condition and within 5 minute walk to Ridgevale Beach. There were plenty of beach chairs, toys, etc. If you don't know Ridgevale Beach, it has an excellent beach situation for young children. There is a large tide pool that children enjoy and parents can sit between the ocean and the tide pool and enjoy both areas. We would definitely consider this property again for future renting!"

  • Excellent Spot!

"My wife and I plus our Golden Retiever spent a week here in mid August. The location was perfectly situated, just a short walk across some dunes to the beach which seemed frequented by more wildlife than people.... stunning. The cottage was cozy with all amenities from big screen iMac and printer for those google maps, flat screen TV and well stocked kitchen. We used the propane grill nearly every night, enjoying local seafood and vegetables. There was a nice little breakfast place within a morning dogs walk away. It was also a relatively short ( always depending on time of day ) drive up the coast to enjoy other picturesque beaches at the National Sea Shore and Provincetown. The cottage is adjacent to the owners home who was incredibly hospitable and provided a wealth of suggestions wittily described for supplies, restaurants and local knowledge. The pizza was killer! We had a terrific vacation and will definitely be going back in the future."
