Chatham Getaway Vacation Home
"We started 3 days late due to my hectic work schedule and the kids were disappointed but understanding. However, the house made us feel like home, so did Joyce, the owner who lives one house away. She provided us with some materials and suggestions about the area which turned out to be very useful. The house is clean and homey, and is a short drive to Hardings Beach. We enjoyed biking in Brewster, kayaking and fishing in Chatham. Overall, Chatham is a beautiful town without the touristsy tackiness. It is sophisticatedly pleasant."

"My husband and I went down for a few days to Chatham and stayed in this wonderful home. It has 3 bedrooms , a finished family room with a sleep sofa and a finished basement with options for sleeping and 2 full baths. The kitchen is well
equipped, Two large TV sets, wifi and lots of books. We could walk into town for lunch or dinner and shopping. It was great because they are currently filming a new Disney movie at the lighthouse and there is lots of excitement in the town. I would absolutely rent in again"

"We spent some time here over Christmas and were delighted with the wide open kitchen and large spaces for gathering, but also plenty of rooms to break off from the crowd. Because it's on a flagpole lot and backs to woods, you really feel like you've gotten away from it all; at the same time, you can easily walk into town or to the lighthouse. Thanks!"

"This was our second time staying here with our 2 young children (aged 2.5 and 4 years). The house is amazingly well equipped (down to the extra toothbrush kits in the hall closet). The yard is beautiful and well landscaped, but not to the point that you feel your kids shouldn't play there. We found the basement area a key amenity, with lots of toys and games that kept our little ones happy for hours at a time. The location is good as it is within a relatively short walk to the downtown area (15-20 minutes). The barbecue and well equipped kitchen were extremely useful as we don't want to go out to dinner for every meal. The house had everything we needed, including towels, beach chairs, beach toys. Everything about the house and rental experience was extremely well organized.
I would strongly recommend this house to anyone with children, from babies to teenagers (the bunk beds and living area downstairs would be ideal for older kids who want their own space). Would not recommend to childless couples or anyone looking to be on the beach or within an easy walk."
