  • Charming Cape Home

"We had a fantastic week in Chatham and this home exceeded our expectations. Served as the perfect base for our Cape adventures. Great size for our family, very clean & comfortable, and well appointed. Nice location in a quiet neighborhood just outside the town of Chatham, yet just a few minutes from downtown and numerous beaches. Owner Gerry was extremely attentive and helpful - thank you! We have VRBO'd over a dozen properties the last 10 years and he is the best owner I have experienced. Highly recommend catching a Chatham Anglers baseball game - town ballpark is 5 minutes from the house. Drinks on the porch @ Chatham Bars Inn - a must. We also enjoyed a day trip to Nantucket - ferry departs from Harwich Port, just a few minutes west of the house (look for Groupon Summer 2014). I believe that Chatham is the perfect spot for a Cape Cod vacation, and this home is exceptional."

  • Relaxing family vacation spot

"The antique cottage in Chatham is the perfect house for a relaxing family vacation. We visited early fall when the leaves were changing, and we had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable- we felt as if we were right at home the minute we walked in the door. The rooms have plenty of antique charm but are updated and well taken care of and equipped with all of your needs such as: a dishwasher, washer and dryer in the kitchen, two TVs with cable, Wi-Fi, etc...There is plenty of space to spread out. My wife and I stayed with our newborn and we had both sets of our parents come and stay with us throughout the week. We were all very comfortable- there are two dining spaces- one in the kitchen and one dining area making it easy to relax and have family dinners. The sun porch is cozy and a nice place to relax. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach which wasn't crowded. We found some affordable, delicious restaurants in the area and the supermarket in town was great and had all of the needs for our growing newborn. We wish the weather was better so we could enjoy the fire pit outback- looks like fun! All in all, the stay was very enjoyable and comfortable for the entire family. We would love to return. We highly recommend this house as a relaxing getaway for your family vacation."

  • Wonderful Family Vacation House

"We used to own a summer house in Chatham as our boys were growing up and wanted our now-grown children and their families to experience --- and relive the experiences -- of summer on the most beautiful town on the Cape. This house was perfect for our family of ten, including four grandchildren, six and seven y/o. Three large bedrooms on the upper level with beautiful panoramic water views, two kitchens, lovely airy breakfast room, and all the accommodations necessary for a perfect week and happy memories. Plenty of room so everyone had their own space without the cramped feeling that often characterizes summer rentals, even large houses. The children loved the immense back lawn for frisbee and whiffle-ball. Great patio for evening snacks and libations. Close to Chatham beaches and a 15 minute walk to town. This house had everything we needed. We look forward to returning."

  • 3 years in a row

"My family (husband + 2 kids) have rented this house three years in a row, and love it more each year. Its secluded and quiet, but easy to get to town. We walked down to the small beach at the end of the lane, or played in the large yard if we wanted to stay close to home -- or jumped in the car for a quick jaunt to another beach. The house is extremely comfortable, with just the right amount of updating in bathrooms and the kitchen, but keeping the charm of the delightful house, living room and study intact. The wireless is great - we had some work to do in the evenings, and sat together in the study -- it was so nice we almost didn't mind working on vacation! My kids love coming back to this house - they remember watching the birds and the rabbits that tend to appear in the afternoon, and also are the biggest fans of the outdoor shower. This is truly the perfect Cape house, and the best part is you know you are on the Cape, not in a soulless house that could be dropped down anywhere."
