"We had a great time! Plenty of rooms and plenty of fun! We really enjoyed this property. Thirteen members of our family gathered to celebrate FOUR May birthdays! Our three generations had plenty of room to spread out. The weather was fine and we enjoyed the beach, the Chatham fish pier, Cape Cod National Seashore and shopping in Chatham. The great Ships in the Shops displays were a nice bonus! The best part was having our own private beach! Three generations had a blast with the kayaks! Hated to leave!"Guest: janice c. "This was our first vacation on the Cape and our week at this home was absolutely perfect! Chatham is such a lovely town, with plenty of shops, restaurants and of course great beaches! The home, with its beautiful wide pine flooring throughout was immaculate upon our arrival and everything you could possibly need was in place. We were very impressed with the size of the home. The living room is spacious and can easily accommodate ten adults. The four bedrooms are large, very comfortable and each with their own private, very clean, updated bathroom. An additional shower is outside the house, great for quick rinse off after a day at the beach. We enjoyed the breeze on the covered front porch while enjoying a cocktail before dinner. The spacious gourmet kitchen with its center island and built in cook top is open to the dining area and made eating in very enjoyable, with our extended family. We also enjoyed cooking on the gas grill on the large rear deck. The three zone central air made everyone very comfortable, considering it was very hot the week we were there.. This vacation home is absolutely beautiful and convenient to Chatham, surrounding attractions, Rt 6, and especially the beaches! The home has tons of maps, directions to great attractions, local shops, food stores, etc. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and family and look forward to returning next year. The owner Lilly was fantastic, easy to work with and made this experience one to remember. Thank you Lilly, Janine and Jim"Guest: Jim P. "Our family of 5 enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable week in Chatham, with this charming home to call our own during our stay. The location, facilities, and surrounding amenities made for a wonderful vacation!"Guest: Lisa C. Date of Stay: August 2013 Review Submitted: September 3, 2013View listing
"My family and I rented this property in June with family friends. It was our first time to Chatham, and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. The quant downtown, activities such as Cape League Baseball, Friday night band concerts and easy access to a variety of beaches were ideal for both kids and adults. The property itself was perfect for our needs. Within a short walk from the house, we were able to rent paddleboards and kayaks as well as find a slip to keep our 24 foot boat on for the week (plenty of great fishing to be had with access to Nantucket Sound and the Atlantic Ocean). The house itself is incredibly charming, still retaining its historic character while being comfortable (for two families with kids) and functional. The kids spent endless hours playing yard games and the adults loved the sweeping views from the porch and front lawn. As an added bonus, my wife (who is a big American Idol fan) just learned that Harry Connick Jr. has a house about a mile down the river in Oyster pond. All in all, a great spot and a great vacation. Our families hope to make this a yearly event."Guest: Frank Date of Stay: June 2013 Review Submitted: September 9, 2013View listing
