Charming, cozy apartment right downtown!
"We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is lovely - a renovated interior in a historic house. Gorgeous wood, modern bathroom, quaint (but modern) 1940s style sink, lovely window seat, comfortable bed. We felt so at home here. Very cozy and personal. We ended up cooking dinner at home instead of going out because we liked it so much.
The location is great - 3 min walk downtown, and 20 min walk to Chatham Lighthouse beach. A great spot on Cape Cod.
Only two things would have made it better:
1) there is no door to the bathroom - there is simply a curtain between the bedroom and bathroom. This lack of privacy in the bathroom felt awkward.
2) When I requested to book on VRBO, the response raised the price by ~$20 over what it was listed on in the search. While I still had the opportunity to not book the site, I felt misled (particularly because I had already spent quite a long time comparing properties on VRBO, with price as one of the important factors). In the end I really liked the place, and the difference between original listed and actual price was relatively small, but would recommend keeping the posted price updated to avoid misleading people.
Overall, we loved this apartment, and will definitely be back!! The owners did a lovely job with it."

"We had a great stay here! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and answered our texts promptly. There are neighbors, but you cannot see or hear them. The home is is very centrally located to explore the whole cape. It is close to several beaches and the pond. We brought our 5 kids (ages 12 - 24) and my grandmother. There was a large enough sleeping, seating, and dining area for all of us. (In addition to the 3 bedrooms with their 3 queens and 3 twins, there is a pull-out couch in the family room.) There were no stairs, and the master shower had a low entrance, small seat, and a railing for my grandmother. It was the perfect place to stay. We even saw a little fox!"

"The photos really do not say it all...The house is bright, immaculate, beautifully decorated, and so very comfortable and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the deck, which overlooks the pond, which connects to tidal lagoons and the Nantucket Sound. Coffee in the mornings, drinks in the evening, and dinners on the deck were worth every penny. Our family rented a kayak and enjoyed exploring the adjacent tidal lagoons, and took the kayak out to the private beach and the ocean front. The bird watching opportunities are fantastic. One thing to note: the boat launch is best at high tide, so you are somewhat limited in the best times of day for kayaking. Our family also really enjoyed the ping pong table at the house - a real plus. We also liked being able to access the bike trail just a short trip from the house, as well as being able to bike to awesome ice cream at Schoolhouse and yummy pies as Marion's. Deidre and Frank were wonderful hosts and ready to help if we needed it. I recommend this house without hesitation!"
