"This was a perfect getway for our family. The single floor layout was great for my mother (in wheelchair). My two boys 2 and 4) loved the bunk beds, and it was great to have the additional third bed in their room for when the novelty of the top bunk wore off. My wife and I were in the third room. Plenty of space for all, on a quiet road, a beautiful lake, and direct kayak and canoe access out onto the water. Could not have asked for more."

"This unit was very comfortable, cozy, and best of all, clean. It is especially important that there be no bugs to deal with wherever we stay on vacation. I didn't even see a spider (and even king's palaces can have those)! We ate in for breakfasts - the kitchen with full-sized appliances, is quite sufficient. We ate at Jason's Tavern one day for the main meal (the bar is off to the side, so it feels more like a restaurant) and enjoyed the meal so much that we went back there for the next two days! Gerry is very pleasant and hospitable. We highly recommend the Dennisport Jewel, and would love to go back."

"Paradise is found in this beautifully decorated spacious home situated on the Swan River. Early morning on the porch, overlooking the tidal river, with breakfast and a love for nature cannot be beat! Our kayak sat out on the end of the pier waiting to take us up to Swan Pond or down to the ocean. Great fun for everyone in the family. Conservation land across the river is home to deer, geese, egrets, and once we even saw a fox! In the yard come family friendly ducks, rabbits, and so many varieties of birds, even our bird lover friends were amazed.
All this, along with the joys of the cape, especially the Dennis bay beaches with tidal flats that rival all else, and the great seafood, reminds us of childhood pleasures of coming home in evenings for fires in the fire pit, games and reading and the joys of family time. Bring your bikes, too, as rail trails are convenient and safe.
The Burns family truly provide top accommodations - the beds are super comfortable, two bathrooms plus a oversized whirlpool bath and an outdoor shower make for ease in accommodating six people of all ages. Our highest recommendation comes with our hope to return next year for our third stay at this idyllic hidden gem."

"Accommodations were excellent and the owners friendly/helpful. We appreciated the two bathrooms and sleeping set-up since we were a grandpa/grandma + Mom/Dad + 2 grandkids. The location of this place allows a vacationer to walk handily to the beach, explore a short nature path nearby, or travel comfortably to local areas of interest. We'd return for sure."
