  • Perfect home for an enjoyable stay on the cape

"A lovely home in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Falmouth. Not too far from the nearest beach and to the supermarkets. Rooms are a good size and the split living room is a good touch if you have a bigger family. Kitchen is well equipped and the laundry facilities in the basement come in handy as do the table tennis and darts board! Overall, I would recommend this house as it offers very good value and has all the essentials and comforts."

  • Year after year, this cottage continues to delight us

"We come back year after year, and each time we are struck by how welcoming this cottage is; the owners think of many details to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable! We’ve never stayed at a cottage that was so well maintained, with so many thoughtful touches. The owners go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need. When we bring guests or family, they, too, are blown away by the water views, the sunsets, the pristine private saltwater beach on Follins Pond, the private dock, and the proximity to everything (beaches, parks, Cape Cod Baseball League games, mini golf, antique stores, great restaurants, supermarkets...). There are plenty of windows in the cottage, with lovely cross breezes. It’s fantastic to walk out of your bedroom in the morning and be greeted by a wall of windows looking out at the water! We love hanging out on the spacious deck, and the screened gazebo (with ceiling fan and light) is a cool private outdoor room -- and a great retreat on rainy days. The table in the inside dining area is a draw for board games, and there’s plenty of room to eat at the kitchen island or on the deck if the game lasts into mealtime. All of the common areas are open and flow into each other, and the water view is a constant backdrop. The space is flexible, and you can be as private or as communal you wish. One thing that stands out about this cottage is that it can easily accommodate a lot of people without feeling crowded, but it also feels perfect when only two or three of us stay there. We also really appreciate the gas grill; washer and drier; out-of-the-way clothesline for wet towels; two full bathrooms; and the private outdoor shower by the back door. And of course the fact that our dog is welcome! The owners are perfect hosts. They’re very responsive and helpful, but also totally respect our privacy. It’s been 3 weeks since we left, and we’re still feeling refreshed and rejuvenated by our latest stay there. We’ll be back!"

  • Comfortable and convenient

"Maureen was so helpful and easy to reach when booking the studio. I was looking for a place to stay last minute because I was in a wedding near by. It was affordable, clean and very close to the Main Street. I would definetly recommend this place and look forward to coming back."

  • Perfect for a family reunion

"Great space for a family get together. Bedrooms, baths and common spaces very spacious and comfortably furnished. Although we had very nice weather and were able to enjoy being outside, the layout of the house would work well in inclement weather just as well. A great location for enjoying walks on the beach or the street. Two decks means that one is almost always getting some sun or shade. The large deck off the back of the house has seating for at least 30 - amazing, the kitchen was spacious and well laid out and was the most well equipped of any house I've ever rented. Easy access from the parking to the house (just one step up) and a master with ex suite bathroom (with walk-in shower) downstairs would make this an ideal house for anyone with limited mobility. In addition, one can enjoy the beach from the back deck. The house was very clean and well maintained and the owner was very responsive to any questions/issues. It was redecorated in 2014, so is even nicer than the pictures. We would definitely recommend this property. We ate all our meals in, so can't recommend restaurants. We did hire Clambakes Etc to do a clambake for our group and they did a terrific job - would definitely recommend them. Activities - can recommend the Shining Sea Bikeway that runs from Falmouth to Woods Hole and Corner cycle in Falmouth for bike rentals. Also recommend Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich - even on a rainy day."
