  • Amazing cottage vacation!!!

"It's very rare that that the reality of a thing is better than what you imagine, but the little cottage certainly was. We walked the beautiful private beach at sunrise and later in the evening so beautiful. The fireplace was perfect for toasting marshmallows and the television was available for the ones who wanted it. We were a group of four women and amazingly we ALL enjoyed our stay and want to return. Lots of sightseeing available for those who need to keep moving and the local people are helpful and friendly. The history of the property is amazing for those who like history."

  • Wonderful location. Home had all the amenities.

"What a great place to revisit memories with our adult children and their children. The home is well appointed and having the bikes/helmets and kayaks at our disposal was appreciated. The pool table was also used by most of us at some point in our stay. The tv and surround sound was a little tough to figure out at first. We would strongly recommend this home for large families seeking a place for vacation."

  • Great house!

"Three generations gathered in this lovely home on Nauset Heights. We have stayed in this area in the past, but never in as well-equipped and gracious house. Walk to the beach, sit on the deck and listen to the surf and just relax. Plenty of room to be together for meals and games but to get away from each other when you desire: younger folks to play pool on the first floor, watch TV in the family room or have a conversation in the living room. Comments on Nauset Beach: You have easy access to the public Nauset Beach (without having to fight for a parking place) with lifeguards and the fabulous onion rings at Liam's. But you also have direct walking access to the connected private beach which has no lifeguards but has the benefit of privacy and fewer crowds."

  • We'll be back! It was great

"We spotted this home last year when we were renting another home in the area and immediately wanted to rent it. We’ve always wanted to rent one of the waterfront units at Maushop Village. We particularly liked this street because it is a quiet dead end with little traffic. We contacted the owner and the rest is history. We totally enjoyed our stay is this awesome Maushop cottage. It was a perfect week at the ocean for us. The ocean views were truly amazing from just about every window and both patios have great views. We could see to Martha’s Vineyard from the dining room table just as advertised . We loved sitting out on the front patio enjoying a glass of wine, watching the boating traffic after a day at the beach. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and very nicely furnished. It had all the comforts of home including HD TV, Wi-Fi and even an ice maker! The owner was easy to deal with and quickly answered all of our questions. Looking forward to next year there."
