"My husband and I brought our son and my in-laws here in early June. We instantly fell in love. The owner was very well organized with providing us with the cottage information in advance. The place was neat and clean with a very nice open floor concept. Perfect for 6 people. The cottage is on the bayside so the water is very calm which was perfect for our son to run around and play, especially when the tide is low. The beach was quiet and relaxing, and the water so clear and blue! I was pleasantly surprised to find out the convenience of our location. We were about an hour from Providence which was a very neat town to visit, and 30 minutes from the drive in movie theatre. Boston is a little over an hour away so we visited the aquarium one afternoon. The ferry was also near which allowed us to do a day trip in Martha's Vineyard. We had one rain day, and for anyone who has a toddler you know that you must keep them occupied. Fortunately, we were about 15 minutes from the Children's Museum in Mashpee, and found 2 playgrounds along the way. This place is our new sanctuary. Highly recommend!"

"Great space for a family get together. Bedrooms, baths and common spaces very spacious and comfortably furnished. Although we had very nice weather and were able to enjoy being outside, the layout of the house would work well in inclement weather just as well. A great location for enjoying walks on the beach or the street. Two decks means that one is almost always getting some sun or shade. The large deck off the back of the house has seating for at least 30 - amazing, the kitchen was spacious and well laid out and was the most well equipped of any house I've ever rented.
Easy access from the parking to the house (just one step up) and a master with ex suite bathroom (with walk-in shower) downstairs would make this an ideal house for anyone with limited mobility. In addition, one can enjoy the beach from the back deck.
The house was very clean and well maintained and the owner was very responsive to any questions/issues. It was redecorated in 2014, so is even nicer than the pictures.
We would definitely recommend this property.
We ate all our meals in, so can't recommend restaurants. We did hire Clambakes Etc to do a clambake for our group and they did a terrific job - would definitely recommend them.
Activities - can recommend the Shining Sea Bikeway that runs from Falmouth to Woods Hole and Corner cycle in Falmouth for bike rentals. Also recommend Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich - even on a rainy day."

"I've stayed at this cottage twice now - I like it a lot. It's clean, comfortable and convenient. The location is perfect for me. I look for some place that's low key, quiet and interesting. The views from the deck are beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is equipped with most things I need and the owner is pleasant and helpful. The area around E. Sandwich is perfect. Good restaurants include the Pilot House, Seafood Sam's, the Bee Hive and several breakfast/lunch places. The Heritage Museum in Sandwich is a beautiful place to visit. The gardens are spectacular and this year they had a special art exhibit featuring paintings by N.C., Andrew and Jamie Wyeth. Amazing! I recommend this cottage highly."

"I stayed here for three nights with my 5 yo daughter, my mother and a friend. It was the perfect get-a-way for three generations of girls. We needed three separate bedrooms, and enough space to be together, but not be on top of one another. This beautiful cottage fit the bill perfectly. The kitchen was fully equipped for all of our needs, including cooking meals each night. The beds were very comfortable with lots of extra pillows and blankets. Everything was very clean and of great quality. The decor was really nice- beachy without being overdone. The cottage, which actually was a fully equipped four season home, left nothing to be desired, except for more time to stay. We visited during a very chilly, rainy week, and we were so cozy in the cottage. The views were spectacular. Janice was very responsive during the entire process, from booking to after check-out. She kindly welcomed us with a hand-written note and a bottle of wine! We would surely stay again."
