"We just loved staying here! It is a true Old style Cape Cod cottage. It is a house not afraid of a little sand on the floor. Close to the ocean, lots of room for 4 couples (one with a baby that brought a pack and play) teenager on the pullout couch. You could get away from each other easily. We loved the fireplace in the main room and open layout . The bedrooms have plenty of room. There are 1 1/2 bathrooms inside and a great outdoor shower! The kitchen is well stocked with everything one could possibly need for cooking. On the down side, I would suggest a few new mattresses by second night ended up with a very sore back. There were a few issues not the fault of the owners since they live out of state. The cleaning people did a bad job of cleaning, cobwebs, open box of cereal left on table... Dish washer door was broken so slammed down on someone foot and the coffee pot was cracked I assume from a previous renter, and be aware there is septic we had an issue but the owners took care of it right away! There is a deck about 20 steps from the house with a table and chairs and huge views of the beach and Cape Cod Bay. We would recommend staying here and plan on a return trip as the positive outweighed any negative. Just a great location can't be beat!"

"We have lived many wonderful places, visited some of the finest retreats and hotels, been on some of the greatest excursions...this was the best R & R ever. We didn't want to leave. Sitting out of the deck, watching nature with a front row seat, was one of the best highlights. If you are looking for frills this may not be your place, but if you are looking for rest, peace & quiet, carefree days and nights...this is it! Overlook what it doesn't have because it makes up for all that it does."

"I stayed here for three nights with my 5 yo daughter, my mother and a friend. It was the perfect get-a-way for three generations of girls. We needed three separate bedrooms, and enough space to be together, but not be on top of one another. This beautiful cottage fit the bill perfectly. The kitchen was fully equipped for all of our needs, including cooking meals each night. The beds were very comfortable with lots of extra pillows and blankets. Everything was very clean and of great quality. The decor was really nice- beachy without being overdone. The cottage, which actually was a fully equipped four season home, left nothing to be desired, except for more time to stay. We visited during a very chilly, rainy week, and we were so cozy in the cottage. The views were spectacular. Janice was very responsive during the entire process, from booking to after check-out. She kindly welcomed us with a hand-written note and a bottle of wine! We would surely stay again."

"Great space for a family get together. Bedrooms, baths and common spaces very spacious and comfortably furnished. Although we had very nice weather and were able to enjoy being outside, the layout of the house would work well in inclement weather just as well. A great location for enjoying walks on the beach or the street. Two decks means that one is almost always getting some sun or shade. The large deck off the back of the house has seating for at least 30 - amazing, the kitchen was spacious and well laid out and was the most well equipped of any house I've ever rented.
Easy access from the parking to the house (just one step up) and a master with ex suite bathroom (with walk-in shower) downstairs would make this an ideal house for anyone with limited mobility. In addition, one can enjoy the beach from the back deck.
The house was very clean and well maintained and the owner was very responsive to any questions/issues. It was redecorated in 2014, so is even nicer than the pictures.
We would definitely recommend this property.
We ate all our meals in, so can't recommend restaurants. We did hire Clambakes Etc to do a clambake for our group and they did a terrific job - would definitely recommend them.
Activities - can recommend the Shining Sea Bikeway that runs from Falmouth to Woods Hole and Corner cycle in Falmouth for bike rentals. Also recommend Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich - even on a rainy day."
