"I booked the home for my sister's bachelorette weekend. There were about 14 girls sleeping over, and others visiting throughout the weekend during the day. My sister's wedding is taking place July 4 in Falmouth so I figured a weekend with the girls before would be perfect. I has never used the site before so I was a little nervous. I could not have been more pleased with the property, and its owner, Julie. Julie walked me through the process and was available for any questions. The home is absolutely beautiful, and much more spacious than the pictures even show. The pictures do not do this property justice. The home has everything you would need! The home was extremely clean, was furnished with kitchen utensils, cups, plates, papertowels, etc. The view was incredible, and we spent alot of time sitting on the beach chatting, and between the two stacked porches. We had such an amazing weekend, many of the girls have asked me how to book the property again for other events/girls weekends/etc. I would highly recommend this property!"

"We spent a wonderful week here. The home is clean and so spacious. We loved the large deck and beautiful landscaping. Old Silver beach is just a 10 minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again."

"Can't wait to return to Falmouth and stay in this spacious, well-equipped house. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. The house had tons of room for our family to spread out and is stocked with DVDs, games, and toys. Convenient to the bike trails and a delicious brunch place across the street. There is even a market a few paces away.
Falmouth itself was an adorable town and we recommend Pie in the Sky in Woods Hole. If you venture to Martha's Vineyard, we found that Chris at Harbor Taxi gives a knowledgable and interesting tour of the island."

"My husband and I were guests of Anne's for 3 days in July. I say "guests" as we felt pampered and well-cared for the entire time. We couldn't believe our luck in finding a place as wonderful as this at such an affordable price. Anne is a delight and is very welcoming. She operates her art gallery out of the house and her work, as well as that of other artists, decorates every wall. It made the rooms that much more inviting.
We found that Anne was spot on with her recommendations for restaurants and tourist attractions. I wish we had time to sample all of her favorites. We were able to walk to Eulinda's for ice cream and tried both the cafe and market that were also within walking distance. The village itself and more upscale restaurants were about a 10 min. drive from the B&B. An evening in Woods Hole was also a short drive as were Spohr Gardens and Highfield Hall and Gardens. We were able to walk to the beach and saw both a swan and an osprey nesting along the path and reserve.
The house is on a busy road but the master bedroom has AC so you can shut your windows if you wish. We used AC one night but left the windows open the other nights and were not disturbed. There are windows in every room so there is plenty of cross ventilation.
As Anne oriented us, we discovered a wonderful fruit bowl waiting for us as well as juice, yogurt and granola for our breakfast. The table was set with charming, colorful dishware and linen cloth and napkins. The kitchen/eating area was more than adequate in size and well lit.
There is a small reading/TV room with a futon. The master bedroom has a lovely 4 poster bed which is very comfortable as well as a "fainting couch" with a reading lamp. A spacious hand painted armoire and bureau provide plenty of storage. The bathroom is tiny but more than adequate. The towels are soft and fluffy and Anne provides a nice assortment of soaps and shampoos.
There are also several spots outside to relax--a side porch and a lovely patio next to the vegetable garden.
Please note that this is a very old house, so along with charm come upstairs ceilings that are only 6 feet -- not a problem for us, but might be for some. Also, the steps to the second floor are a bit steep.
What could be better than staying at a former sea captain's house while in Falmouth? We look forward to returning."
