  • Wonderful week in a GREAT house!

"We just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful house. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Our beach vacations are usually in New Jersey and we thought we'd try Cape Cod for a change. It did not disappoint nor did the recommendations of Mike and Jan for restaurants, shopping on Main Street, and enjoying the beach! The neighborhood is very quiet but just minutes away from the beach and/or shopping/dining on Main Street. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard is a short walk away and it takes you right to Edgartown which is a beautiful town to see. The description of the house was more than accurate. We were very comfortable and felt very much at home! When we return for another Cape Cod vacation, we hope to stay here again! Thanks again Mike and Jan!"

  • Perfect New England Home for all seasons

"A very close old friend was getting married in October and we had a group of couples that traveled from all over the country to get together for the wedding and we were looking for a place where we could call home base but also offered a great atmosphere to catch up in. The house was perfect. We had a great time catching up at the big dining room table, and enjoying our morning coffee on the front porch. We were able to walk to all of the wedding festivities that took place in Falmouth, MA. From the Flying Bridge, to all of Main Street, the house is extremely accessible to everything. It is also only a very short walk to the water where you can capture all the ocean views you want. All in all, it was a fanastic trip and the house provided everything we wanted and more."

  • Our Stay - August 3 - 8, 2014

"My husband and I recently returned from a vacation at this property on Waquoit Bay. Waquoit Bay is one of our favorite places to visit and our stay was delightful! The location is exactly as it is described and Carol was extremely helpful with arrangements for our kayaks. In fact, Carol was responsive and helpful throughout the rental process. We arrived a little later than we intended on Sunday and were greeted with ice in the freezer, a large bottle of spring water, and a chilled bottle of wine. What a nice touch! Carol also checked in with us via email during our stay-- another nice detail. The house is clean and charming with great character, the bed in the master bedroom was exceptionally comfortable and we really enjoyed the outdoor shower. The kitchen is modern and easy to work in. There is a TV in each of the bedrooms as well as the living room, which would be a nice feature for families. After a day on the water, it was pleasant to cook out and enjoy the view of the bay with a glass of wine or to frequent the many nearby restaurants. Carol has a list of restaurants for guests. We would definitely recommend this property!"

  • Wonderful for a family trip

"Abigail's Falmouth home was absolutely perfect for our family of four (kids aged 9 and 7). We came to Falmouth for a wedding and stayed for the following week, a total of 9 nights. During the wedding weekend the house was a comfortable place for extended family to come spend time with us while we were all in town and the kitchen has everything you need to cook family meals. The weather was lovely and there was so much to enjoy that we never even turned on a TV. At the house we enjoyed the quiet shady yard and herb garden, the games, puzzles, great book collection, swing set in the yard and the bikes. My 9 yr old son is an avid biker and was thrilled to find the blue bike and helmet in the shed, thanks for sharing that! From the house we biked on the Shining Sea path several times, visited Plimouth Plantation and the Mayflower, the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, the Sandwich Glass Museum, Old Silver Beach, Highfield Hall and Falmouth's pretty Main Street. We had great food at the British Beer Company, Coonamessett Farms, Seafood Sam's and Ben & Bill's Chocolate Emporium and we loved 18 Cousins Bookstore in Falmouth. The house helped us feel happy and relaxed and my kids made great memories there, we will stay here again if we get future trips to Cape Cod."
