  • Lovely

"This is a lovely rental, clean and well maintained, and only steps from the sound with beautiful sunsets, and a short walk to town. The house has everything you need and is perfect for large families: Beach towels, washer and dryer, dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans (if you want to cook -we ate out mostly), out door shower and three bathrooms, fenced in yard for kids, sand chairs in the shed, and games for the evening or a raining day. A walk to town for breakfast or coffee and a pastry is always pleasant, and a glass of wine on the deck is lovely. There are a number of good places to eat in or near Harwich Port ranging from seafood shacks to gourmet dining, and on a raining day try taking art lessons (adults and children) at the Pickett Fence in town. Chatham ( the next town up) is a good place to go shopping for nice gifts for an "outing," and there are some good places to eat there too, as well as seal watching. Stop by the Chamber of Commerce in Harwich Port for brochures on activities and sight seeing. The landlord is very helpful so don't hesitate to ask for suggestions and guidance."

  • Cousins' Weekend 2014

"We rented the condo for our cousin's weekend. There were 10 of us. We had a great time. The place was spotless when we arrived, the rooms were very large so we could all sit together at the table to eat and to converse in the living room. The beach was a short walk away as well as some bakeries and little gift shops. There were plenty of great restaurants around the area. If it were summertime, we would have had plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, etc. It would be easy to spend a week there. All you needed was food and clothes. I would recommend it to anyone. It was very quiet at night and we all had a grand time."

  • Perfect 10 days

"My family with 3 girls ages 23,21 and 17 stayed at this great home for 10 days late August through Labor Day. The house was comfortable and sunny and fully equipped with all of the comforts of home. The beach was spectacular and access to beach so convenient. We loved the very short walk to Main St. and never felt the need to get into our cars. We particularly loved The Port Restaurant (just a 5 min walk) where we had $1 oysters almost every night. We are already planning our trip for next year. The owner was very easy to work with and answered emails with any questions within minutes!"

  • Tiny

"We loved this house! The attention to detail is amazing. It has a big beautiful back yard with a deck and an outdoor shower that we enjoyed. The house is spotless yet very homey and comfortable, Air conditioning makes it cool when needed but the windows offer fresh air and quiet sleeping .It is a short drive to town or the beach but walking is fine too. I can't wait to visit again.Thank you!"
