Exactly what we wanted
"We had 7 people at the house for a wedding weekend - great communal space to hang out, had all the amenities you would expect/need in the kitchen, very comfortable and clean. Owner was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Would be great for a large group or family"

"My family just returned from a fantastic week at this wonderful house. As lovely as it is in pictures, the house is even more charming and homey in person. As a rental, it is very accommodating: attractive, organized, and well equipped (having on hand everything from wine glasses to a beach cart). It was extremely comfortable for this family with a small child. The owner was very accessible by email and text and, though this was a rental situation, I felt as if we were being hosted by a very gracious host. We rented a wagon and took our toddler on the 4/10-mile walk through beautiful, shady residential neighborhoods to Pleasant Street Beach, a small public beach that actually felt quite private. The house is only a six minute drive to the highly family friendly Ridgevale Beach, with tide pools and kayak and canoe rentals. It's a 13-minute drive into Chatham's gorgeous town center, and another 4 minutes to Chatham Lighthouse Beach. We just returned and can't wait to go back."

We have just returned home from our vacation - we traveled through Berkshires, Amherst and Northampton - just wanted to see a different part of Massachusetts.
Thank you for letting us use your cottage - we spent three great unforgettable weeks there. It's a lovely, charming place, with great decor, quintessentially "Cape"; among things that we loved most were the library (great selection of books!) and the antique lamps. It's very well equipped and comfortable - we truly felt at home there. We had great beach weather almost every day; when it got busier and more crowded on weekends, we made short sightseeing trips to Boston and Providence (we fell in love with Providence). The location is so convenient - close to everything. I hope we will be able to return in the future.
Thank you for your hospitality and your help with all the details. I hope everything was in order when we left."

"Beach Lodge was the ideal place for our family vacation. This large historic home is full of charm. No two rooms are alike and the decor is exactly what you'd expect for a seaside getaway. From coffee or drinks on the screened porch or dinner on the front deck overlooking the picturesque harbor, we never wanted to leave!
The lawns and gardens are well kept and provide plenty of space for our kids to play. The beach is also a close walk away, which was perfect for cooling off on hot days.
The town (Harwich Port) main street is also a close walk away and we loved checking out the coffee shops, stores, bars and restaurants.
We had people of all ages in our group, and the whole week had so much to offer everyone.
We will absolutely be back next summer!"
