  • Best House on the Cape!

"This is the second time my family and I have rented this house and we always have the best time! Walking distance to town and only a short drive to the beach. There is nothing better then coming home after a beach day and swimming in the pool! My nephew loved the playground and basketball court. I definitely reccomend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and amazing house in Hyannis!"

  • October Vacation in Cape Cod 2014

"Our fall trip to Cape Cod and Boston was planned hastily in mid-September thus being too late to take advantage of our time share ownership. So we elected to search out VRBOs and fortunately for us we came upon the Norris cottage. We enjoyed our stay in the area very much and plan to return in the future. The cottage was ideal, just as pictured, close proximity to the beach and to the downtown area. It lived up to our expectations having selected the property based on the very thorough description and photos available. It is well equipped with amenities and was very clean and well maintained. While the cottage could easily accommodate 6 people we found it just right for the two of us. It's a good location for excursions to Provincetown, to Martha's Vineyard (ferry dock is about 10 minutes drive away) and even a day trip into Boston is doable. It's a great vacation spot and being able to stay at the cottage made our trip so much more enjoyable. Would do it again."

  • Wonderful home on the beach!

"This was our best summer vacation ever! We’ve been coming to the Cape each summer since the mid 1970’s when our three kids were little, and even smaller. This year we returned with everyone, including 6 grandchildren, ages 12, 11, 10, 7, 5, and 1 ½. The house was the perfect setting for our family get together with plenty of private space for the little ones to sleep and play. Excellent amenities from the multitude of bathrooms, the outdoor shower, wonderful gathering areas inside and out for enjoying a meal and conversation, and the most excellent hot tub! We love water sports, and thoroughly enjoyed the private beach for swimming, launching the kayaks, exploring the great fishing spots just on the other side of the big breakwater, and bringing the Whaler Montauk around from the slip at the Hyannis Marina. And you can walk to tons of waterfront activities, ferries to the Islands, excellent restaurants, and shopping 'till you drop! But best of all, the house is magnificent, both the interior design and layout, and the enormous deck and beautiful lawn, perfect for playing whiffle ball. The place is truly a home, a special home with so many delightful surprises, such as the personalized artwork, the beautiful tile display of the Cape in the kitchen, and the tile view in the bathroom of the backyard and ocean. Warm, inviting places like this don’t just happen. They are created by very special people. We only hope we can return to this wonderful place next year."

  • Great house in perfect location

"3 couples (my wife and I, and both sets of our parents) and a baby had a blast at this house. You're 1-2 blocks from the harbor, a 10 minute beautiful walk to Main street, and what a great price. We've stayed in many houses found on VRBO, and I can say I was very impressed with what was inside the house. Usually we are hopeful for sugar and ketchup. This house had everything from coffee to condiments, nice tvs and dvd player, beautiful bathrooms with really nice showers/tubs, trash bags, paper towels, everything to do laundry and clean up. Also had a nice supply of kitchen stuff (stainless steel pots & pans, plenty of cups and utensils, grill outside). I brought half my kitchen expecting nothing to be in the house and was so very pleasantly surprised. Can't say how the house would be in prime season, but we had an amazing trip here right before Memorial Day. I would highly recommend to anyone."
