"My wife and I stayed in Starfish Cottage in early July this year. Our eldest daughter lives in Plymouth so we took a break to visit her. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so much at home! The cottage has everything you could possibly want from a holiday rental. It was very spacious, well equipped (especially the kitchen and family room), comfortable and felt homely. Lots of room for families, air conditioned, beautiful gardens and close enough to Plymouth centre without being in town. Rita made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our chats! We really had a great time and hope to return in 2016! Thank you Rita!"

"We are a family of 4 who rented this cottage from Dave this August. Although we planned the vacation intending to bring our dog with us, he sadly passed away this summer and Dave was great about subtracting the charge for the dog from our final cost. We arrived to a very clean (no smells and couldn't tell it was a "pet friendly" rental) cute cottage - nothing fancy but worked well for us. Lots of extras including plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. Having beach chairs, Boogie boards and beach toys all there for our use was really nice and saved us some space in our vehicles. There is a great patio (with a charcoal grill - charcoal supplied!) where we ate most of our meals. The location was great - within a block of the Cape Cod Rail Trail and less than 4 miles to Coast Guard Beach!
We had a small issue during our stay and Dave was immediately apologetic and we had a mutually agreed on solution right away.
My only request would be for either a window fan or small air conditioner unit for the small bunk room - it got quite hot in there...
I would absolutely rent this cottage from Dave again!"

"We just got back from our family vacation and I can't say enough good things about this cottage. My husband and I were in one queen bedroom which had a ceiling fan and was very spacious... my kids (all under the age of 7) stayed in the twin bedroom which was great... and my parents stayed in the other queen bedroom which also had a ceiling fan and was more spacious than the other queen room. The twin room had two fans in the closet. The beach is literally a 3 minute walk and my kids loved walking every day, they thought they were cool having a house so close to the beach. Parkers River Beach is great.... it gets crowded though. My husband would drop off some of our stuff @ 9am and set up our chairs on the beach to get a spot then we would all walk down, the guys who run the parking lot were great and allowed tons of people to drop off. The beach has bathrooms... shower... playground... food and ice cream. The Skipper restaurant is also across the street from the beach. We had pure sunshine all week which was a huge plus! The cottage had everything we needed and more. My girls loved the old vintage toys that were there (1970 fisher price toy cars and airplanes... so awesome) ....it's an old cottage but it is perfect... had comcast cable tv... a bunch of dvd and vhs movies.... had a great outdoor shower.... my kids loved the shower that was in the house ( it had a handheld shower massager that I just used to wash the kids down... They loved it!! My parents thought the place was perfect too. So close to the beach... in a perfect spot off of 28, right down the street from skull island and dairy queen.... stop n shop and Shaws were also very close. We ate in every meal except one night we ate at Seafood Sam's which was really good. The grill is charcoal so buy a bag of charcoal if you want to use it. .. the food tasted great off of the grill, it's been awhile since my husband used a charcoal grill but he loved it. There was an air conditioner in the living room that we used here and there, it needed an extension cord to plug into the wall but the house had that. The pictures for the listing of the home do it no justice... the place is so cute and perfect. I miss it already and can't wait to go back! My sister in law was staying in west yarmouth while we were there and parked at our place and walked to the beach, she loved the cottage and wants to rent it next year. Stephanie was great to communicate with...she gets right back to you. Thank you for everything!"

"We got to spend a week in this beautiful cozy cottage for our honeymoon and it was perfect!!! Cottage is full of everything you need for your stay, just need your beach towel and you are good to go!! Phil and Sharon are so nice and helpful!! There is a great food place across the street that we loved!! We loved that we were just a few steps away from the ocean! The weather was perfect for us and we were able to enjoy the sun and ocean breeze so close to where we were staying. There is so much you can do in the Cape and this is a perfect place to stay on your trip! I highly recommend this place and hope to travel again there soon! :)"
