"I really don't know where to start. How about with Paul, the owner of the home. So patient and helpful. It almost seemed too good to be true, but it was. So easy to communicate with. When we pulled up and went inside, we realized that we nailed it. The home is not only perfect, and in a perfect location, but it was so well stocked, and it was spotless inside. You can tell that Paul and Barbara take a lot of pride in their home and it showed. They have this binder with all the information one could need to make sure that all your questions are answered. While searching for a place, I read that they had done a renovation to the master bedroom and bath. Let me tell you, the renovation is beautiful. That master bedroom has an unbelievable view of Cape Cod bay, and so does the 2 person shower. You can shower with a clear view of the Bay through the barn door window. The bathroom seat is automated and heated with some other features that you don't see everyday. My 3 yo daughter told me when we returned home that our bathroom was broken because it wasn't like the one on vacation. There is a switch right next to the bed to control the blinds. I mean, all these little things really made a difference. The views from all around the home were unbelievable. The way the home is set back a bit makes it possible to have the best unobstructed views of both the Bay and the pond. We would have dinner in the 4 season room that has a great view of Freemans pond and the Bay. Oh yes, a Weber grill that is piped into the house so you never have to worry about an empty tank. Usually when you rent a home, the grill is a some bottom of the line grill that's falling apart. This was top of the line, clean, and ready to use. We grilled at least 4 times that week. The best part of all was the proximity to Paines Creek Beach. We were lucky enough to have a great week weather wise and went to the beach pretty much everyday. It was a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Extremely kid friendly and not very crowded beach. There is also a little foot bridge that leads right to the beach as well, which we would take when we walked down in the evening with our drinks and camera for the beautiful sunsets. My 2 girls ran for miles and collected shells during low tide. A couple of nights we would walk 10 minutes up to Kate's Seafood and ice cream for dinner. It really made things so convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. See you next year :)"

"Eight of us stayed at the house this past weekend. The location is fantastic, RIGHT on the beach and about 20 minutes stroll into the center of town. There is a good sized deck overlooking the beach, equipped with plenty of chairs a table with sun umbrella and a grill. The living area is generous with an open concept living and dinning room facing a wall of windows overlooking the water. The dining room table fit 8 of us nicely.
A huge plus is that the owner provided parking spaces for 4 of our cars; I don't know what we would have done otherwise as parking is tough in that area!
There is a master bedroom with a king sized bed and it's own bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms are small but do the job of providing a place to sleep and leave your stuff in. There is a day bed in the living area which could accommodate a 9th guest. The kitchen was on the smaller size, but everything worked! We used a lot of the pots and pans that were provided, so it was nice we didn't have to bring any of these with us.
The house is older and not updated, but we knew that prior to booking and I think that is reflected in the price. It has everything we needed and more! The only points of improvement for me would be providing hand soap in both bathrooms, and maybe providing more than one roll of paper towels and one trash bags. Not a huge deal because we picked these up in town, but would be nice.

"I want to thank Carol and Joe for a wonderful week in Wellfleet. Their house was just right for us. It had plenty of space for two couples (parents and a set of married children) with private bedrooms, baths, and sitting areas for each of us and a great gathering space in the dining room and sunspace that looked out onto lovely shade trees and the salt marsh. It was warm but not too hot while we were there and we were grateful that the sunspace was sunny in the morning and shaded in the afternoon and evening. Opening the windows let the breezes blow through too. It was extra fun in the few rain showers to sit in the sunspace and watch the water pour off. The house is very nicely decorated and we couldn't believe how well equipped the kitchen was. It had every kind of dish, bowl, pan and accessory you could ever want. The house is very private but, on a sad note, you can hear the Highway 6 traffic across the salt marsh if you keep the bedroom windows open at night. I'm sensitive to noise but actually it didn't bother me at all. The location was convenient to everything from Orleans to Ptown. It was funny to us that the tradition in that part of the country is that owners don't provide linens and also apparently you can't leave food behind. It's always nice to find a supply of stuff like ketchup and mayo in the fridge. But those were small inconveniences compared to all the other amenities. So, we highly recommend this house."

"This property is in such a wonderful location, the apartment is beautiful and comfortable. This condo has everything you need and it is spotless, 2 bedrooms with very comfortable queen beds, a very comfortable living room with an incredible view of the ocean. Really nice gas fireplace that gives off a lot of heat. The owner of this property is very honest and easy to work with, she has definitely put a lot of thought into the design of this space. We loved it and will definitely return in the future!!"
